I've been skiing every year since 1973 and absolutely love it. I know the Val d'Isère and Tignes ski area really well and can offer helpful advice to our clients.

Well- equipped, comfortable and homely.
This is a lovely appartment, and was ideal for our teenage son and myself. The owner Chris was extremely helpful; the arrival instructions were very clear and the keys were sent to us beforehand.
On arrival the flat was scrupulously clean, and had everything we needed for our stay (without being cluttered so that you had no room for your own belongings). It was functional and at the same time comfortable and homely; all the equipment was of good quality and the wifi worked perfectly. The situation is ideal, being very close to the Tichot lift and with good views of many of the pistes on the Tichot side of the resort and also towards the glacier.
October half term is not a good time to speak about Tignes as a ski-resort in general, as there was little snow on many of the pistes.(it fell just after we left) and many shops/bars/restaurants had not yet opened for the season . However the ski-ing on the glacier was excellent for training purposes, and the conditions for walking - both on the pistes and along the walking/VTT tracks were superb - giving a glimpse of how wonderful it must be in summer. We hope to return.
Great value for money little apartment with big balcony
Compact, comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Apt 51 was perfect for a good value summer stay for 2 people. Comfortable bed. Very helpful and easily contactable owner.

Perfect apartment for summer vacation
The flat exceeded our expectations. It is very well equipped with upscale kitchen applicances and perfectly clean. The balcony is large and offers breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains of Val Claret. The location of the flat is close to grocery store, parking and sports area of Val Claret. It is perfect for summer vacation. Owing to Chris who is very helpful and responsive we spent un unforgettable summer vacation in Tignes.
We are delighted that this client enjoyed his stay so much. Hopefully we will see him again in the future - over one third of our clients have previously stayed with us!

Great location, compact flat that is very comfortable to self cater for a weeks stay. We were in flat 51 couple with small child and loved it
Great stay, the flat was right at the bottom of the slopes.
Very clean accommodation.
Glad there was only 2 of us staying in the flat as 4 would be a bit tight (but do-able).

We try hard to keep our flats clean, well equipped and competitively priced. They are in good locations and every year about a third of our guests have stayed with us previously. Its good to hear that this couple will also be returning.
We had a great time in this apartment! Location was just perfect, close to slopes (2 min walk to the main lifts), town center also a couple of mins away-Tip: there is a lift to take you up to the center levels, so no need to walk! Apt clean, well equipped and very warm. Huge balcony with views of the mountains and slopes, couldn't be better.

Our flats are in Val Claret, the highest point of Tignes at 2,200m . There is easy access to Val d'Isere's skiing from Val Claret by either of two high speed 6-person chair lifts. The Grande Motte glacier can be reached by the underground 'Funiculaire' and offers excellent summer and autumn skiing. WiFi is available for a small supplement. It includes access to the four UK iPlayers. Ski: Val d'Isere and Tignes share what is probably one of the top five ski areas in Europe with a fantastic range of 200+ runs for everyone from beginner to expert serviced by 120 lifts. There is now a good choice of ski schools and this competition has certainly raised standards. Tignes is the summer skiing capital of Europe but there are many other activities here and at Val d'Isere including golf, tennis, mountain biking, fishing, white water rafting, sailing, etc. Val d'Isere and Tignes are on the edge of the Vanoise National Park and only 40 miles from the Little St Bernard pass into Italy which makes a great day out.

Security deposit of £200 or €250 per apartment per week. When Christmas Day and New Year's Day both fall on a Saturday, special options are available for the period from 18th Dec to 8th Jan.
