Nice Two Bedroom

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed one week in this nicely appointed and spacious two bedroom ground level basement apartment. The owners are very nice and responded quickly to any question or need no matter how trivial. Fortunately the only issue we ever had was a weak internet signal. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed and is very comfortable and we are fussy about that. The second bedroom which we did not need has two twin beds and two entries, one from the main bedroom, making it an ideal room for a babies crib. (I have grandchildren so I know this one). We left early each day and returned late in the evening so we did not have visitors or use the kitchen more than for a quick breakfast and coffee, however the kitchen is well equipped and the living room area will accommodate several visitors nicely if needed. Nice location with a 5 minute drive to downtown Kirkland or 15 minutes to Woodinville wine country to the North. We rented a car for our stay and visited family in Woodinville, Seattle, Kirkland and as far as Yelm. If you are unfamiliar with the area, plan your driving for after the commute hour. All in all this place was just perfect for our needs.

Great Place to Stay Near Seattle

  • 5 of 5

My family (5 from out of town) stayed here while on vacation visiting my oldest son and his wife. We had plenty of sleeping space for our 5 with very comfortable beds. It was large enough to be the gathering place for playing board games with my son, his wife and a friend. Everything was very clean. The Jurys are very nice, had everything ready for us and were very accommodating for our very late arrival and very early checkout. It was close enough to Seattle without being in the middle of all of the traffic. I would definitely recommend it!

Quiet and comfortable - a nice place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment. My husband and I spent a long Memorial Day weekend visiting our son who lives in Kirkland and he was able to stay with us in the second bedroom in this unit so it gave us lots of quality time together. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We didn't take advantage of all the cooking options but the kitchen has every appliance, dish, pot and pan you could ask for. It's in a very quiet location and the short walk to the bus stop makes it easy to get around Seattle even if you don't have a car. I highly recommend this apartment for couples and/or families!!

Great place, homey and comfy!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay, very comfortable and included a lot of great toys/books for the kids. Don was really nice and very helpful. It was really easy to get a hold of him when we needed to and the kids really enjoyed the extras like a little table where they could breakfast and outdoor toys, especially the tent!

The place looks exactly as it does in the pictures and the bathroom was very well stocked. Very clean and well maintained and we loved finding all the little notes and hints placed around the house!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here and the kids loved having all the extras to play with. It's also very close to a Costco and many businesses, so it was super convenient.

great place for visiting seattle

  • 5 of 5

this listing was almost as accurate as the pictures - but better. the unit was spotless and very well cared for, fully stocked with everything anyone could need. it was perfect for our family of four. the owners, don and kathy, were informative about the region and suggested some excellent site-seeing trips. the unit was very easy to settle into, and we were even able to use their bbq grill. i would happily recommend this listing and would love to stay there again if we are visiting seattle.

Wonderful and welcoming!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at about 6 different VRBO rentals in different areas of the country...all were great but this was one of the best! Don and Kathy were very welcoming and even lent us their own beach chairs and blankets to attend a concert in the park in Kirkland. The house was cozy, comfortable, well organized and had everything you could think of plus more! If you have kids they will enjoy the abundance of games, toys and other fun things here. Even though the weather was "unseasonably" :) cloudy and rainy. we still really enjoyed our stay here. It is close to the city for touristy jaunts as well as near lakes and other beautiful areas near Seattle. If we're ever in Seattle again we would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Don and Kathy!
