This rarely found 550sqm property offers two substantial homes and has some of the best views of the Costa del Sol. The property is located near Mijas village at the end of a private road. The main villa comprises of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen, utility room, lounge/dining room with fireplace, various, large open and covered terraces, garage and swimming pool. The master bedroom has a wraparound terrace with 360 degree views of the coast and the mountains. There is a separate apartment with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room and games room. The apartment has its own entrance, terrace and parking so it is totally independently from the main house. The properties are situated in beautiful grounds with a mature garden and a children's play area. The garden makes an excellent venue for a special celebration or party. About Debbie Waby

We are originally from Lincoln UK but moved to Spain in 1999. We bought La Jacaranda as our family home and raised our boys there until they grew up and moved to various parts of the world. As the property is now too big for just the two of us we are offering our beautiful family home for others to enjoy what we have had for all these years. As we are resident in Spain we can share our experiences by offering our guests a personal touch and advice on just about anything to do with the area and visiting Spain.

Why Debbie Waby chose Mijas area

We already had lived in Mijas for previous two years and wanted to stay in the area due to its peaceful location and friendly people. The original property was much smaller than it is now and was in need of some renovation. However as soon as we walked in to the original house and saw the views of the coast line we knew this was the place for us. Over the next few years we extended and renovated the house. We built the master bedroom and ensuite at the top of the house with wrap around terraces to maximise the view. We also built the adjoining apartment, initially as our offices but later converting them into a second family home for our son and his wife.

What makes this villa unique

We fell in love with the quiet tranquil position and the outstanding views. We viewed dozens of properties and none could compare to this one. The beauty is that there is a different view from every part of the property. You will fall in love with the place the way we did.

We thought it was a beautiful villa with lots of space inside and outside the house. Lovely terrace with BBQ and a lovely pool with sunbeds . Many terraces for breakfast and eat. The kitchen and bathroom is stocked with everything one needs. Location : Quiet, nice view. Near bus stop (walking distance) . Center of Mijas can be reached (+/- 20 min walk). Car hire is nice to see the area. Lovely helpful woman who makes you feel welcome immediately . She had even thought of the 35th wedding anniversary with a card and a bottle of champagne. We have fantastic days in this beautiful villa. Highly recommended for a ( large) group

Wonderful place to stay

Our party of 19 just returned from a fabulous week at La Jacaranda. The property is spacious, well equipped and comfortable for a large group with plenty of space for us all to spread out. Beautiful gardens, plenty of balconies and a nice pool. The owner, Simon, was very helpful and on hand to help us out at the drop of a hat. He very kindly drove into town on our last day to pick up some medicine for one of the children who had been sick and refused to take any payment. Very comforting to know you have that sort of support when in a foreign country with young children.

We ate out a few times in Mijas village and found the bus service to be very reliable and cheap - only 1.55 Euros per person into Mijas or Fuengirola. Would recommend The Secret Garden for dinner. The Mayan Monkey ice-cream/chocolate factory is great for kids - two of our children had birthdays so their parents paid for all the children (9!) to do the chocolate making tour. They loved it and we did too as it gave us free time to have a child-free G&T!

Mijas village is beautiful. Such lovely shops and views. The whole area has been pedestrianised and was finished while we were there. Can't recommend the area highly enough.

If you are looking for a laid back holiday for a large group of people close to amenities then La Jacaranda is for you. Car not necessary.

Amazing private Villa with a great view

The Villa and the Apartment were great for our family holiday. There are heaps of room both inside and out! The pool area is very private and in the sun the whole day. There is a big front yard with a bbq and a dining area. The views from the terraces were truly breathtaking and you could see both the sunset and rise. The Villa was very clean and well maintained. The location of the villa is very ideal, it's very private and has amazing views but visiting Mijas Pueblo or Fuengirola is super easy as the buses run frequently very close to the house. I would like to give a special mention to our landlords, Debbie and Simon. The communication with them was super quick before our trip and when we got there we felt really welcomed. They were also beyond helpful with everything we needed. We rented a chef for two nights by their recommendation and the food was delicious. We truly were 100% happy with our stay in La Jacaranda!

Stunning villa

The photos didn't do justice to this beautiful villa. The views and villa are absolutely stunning. The rooms are big and well kept if you wanted a bit of peace there is plenty of space. The villa was very clean and the welcome pack was really appreciated especially the wine. Simon the owner met us at the villa and he gave us a tour and advised us on taxis & supermarkets nothing was to much trouble for him. Debbie his wife kept in contact with me by email also giving advice on transport & shopping. I would definitely recommend this property we didn't want to leave I would book again. We are actually thinking of it for my sisters 60th next year. Mimas village up the top is stunning a must see once up there the views are breath taking.

Best time ever

My family and I just stayed at this amazing property for half term week.

I can say it is even better that described! The views are just amazing, the garden is beautiful and the area is so peaceful.

We stayed in the villa and my sister and her family were in the apartment. Both places were immaculately clean and everything was lovely. Debbie and Simon the owners were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us advise as to where to eat and things to do. They also arranged airport pick up for us which made everything so easy and then arranged car hire for us too which was delivered to the villa. The welcome pack was very welcome (especially the Rioja!) They even loaned us a mobile phone to contact them on if there were any problems!

All in all a lovely stay - we will definitely be going back next year!! Thank you to Debbie and Simon for making our stay so enjoyable.
