A Lovely visit!
We had a very lovely visit last week with our family. We were visiting the area to attend a conference in North Charleston. This was so much better than a conference hotel! The Lord's House has everything you need for a family. It is decorated like a beautiful bed and breakfast but it is even better because you have so much room! Tandra was very helpful. This home is centrally located so you can visit all the tourist locations in a short drive! We will definately stay here again! Thanks so much!
We commented amongst ourselves on how beautiful every room was. Your home was delightful to stay at. We wish it was our home.
This was our second time staying at the Lirds House. It would be fair to say I will schedule my yearly visits around the availability of this house. It is close to town and my relatives so it’s perfect.
A little oddly decorated.
There was a satanic symbol in the home that I didn't care for. Otherwise it was fine.
Wonderful stay in the Charleston area
The moment we walked in we knew we were in a special place. The decor and furniture from comfortable couches to comfortable beds were all top notch. Everything was super clean and the home had all the amenities you would like to have plus extras such as an ice maker, designer table and chairs, plush linens and towels, wonderful smells from air fragrances throughout the home, granite countertops, two bouquets of fresh flowers upon our arrival, great TVs with many cable and movie channels, and I could go on and on. We felt like we were in an upscale home as you could actually live there. The neighborhood was great and very quiet so sleeping was no problem. Tandra, our host, was great to work with and made the booking process easy. She was always accessible and answered any questions we had. She is very professional but also personable and was a joy actually. We would highly recommend staying in this super clean, super nice home.
We loved the house’.
We would have given a five but due to shortage of hot water, we felt 4 was best.
Charleston area: Known as the 'Holy City', for its long tolerance for religions of all types, Charleston is the state's most beautiful and historic treasure. Charleston has had a starring role in South Carolina history since its founding more than 300 years ago. The English established the first permanent European settlement on the Ashley River in 1670. The port city has suffered great fires, earthquakes, pirates, a civil war and a hurricane, and weathered them all with grace and dignity. So genteel and gracious, it's no wonder Charleston, South Carolina has consistently ranked among the country's most elegant and mannerly cities. The city's historic district today has barely changed, boasting 73 pre-Revolutionary buildings, 136 late 18th Century structures and over 600 others built in the 1840s. Visitors can tour the city by foot or horse-drawn carriage.
