Our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin style home offers very affordable accommodations, only minutes from Telluride. Secluded 2 acre lot at 9500 feet, with fabulous views of the San Juans Mountains, towering aspens and spectacular sunsets enjoyed through the wall-to-wall windows. All the amenities, including a gas and wood fireplace, large high-def TV, high-speed wireless internet, wifi and plenty of parking. At half the price of in-town facilities, you will appreciate easy access to Telluride's festivals and fabulous dining yet relax in peace and quite at the end of the day. The town is accessible by road or by Gondola. We often drive to the parking in Mtn. Village (free) and ride the Gondola (free) to the ski area or into town for shopping or dining. About Mike & Lynn Gardner

We built our home in Telluride Ski Ranches in 1978. Lived there for many years before moving to Montana where we now live. We continue to maintain a strong connection to Telluride and our home there and visit 4-5 times a year. Hopefully more once we retire. The family is spread out now but we all find time to get back and enjoy the unique beauty and adventure that this place offers.

Mike & Lynn Gardner purchased this house in 1978

Why Mike & Lynn Gardner chose Southwestern Colorado

We hope our guests will appreciate the love that we have for this amazing place. Two acres of secluded aspen forest at 9500' next to the National forest and only a few minutes to town and the Mountain Village.

What makes this house unique

It is truly a great mountain cabin, with wood stove, gas fireplace and gas furnace (of course) and mountain views through continuous south-west glass walls. The National forest is the backyard. Yet it has all the amenities. Plenty of fire wood. Two south decks. Three comfortable bed rooms and three bath rooms. Utility room and fully stocked kitchen.

Whether you are solo or legion, you will enjoy this mountain home nestled in an aspen covered hillside overlooking the breathtaking Wilson range. Cozy and rustic in it's charming construction, the amenities are luxurious with beautiful tile details. It is conveniently located to all of the popular outdoor activities in the Telluride region as well as some of the more adventurous, lesser known jewels. If you want to have the option to retreat for a day or even a few hours and hear nothing but the aspens quake, then this is the place for you!!! It is an amazing value for the very special experience that it provides...incomparable!

Living on the mountain with Aspens and nature, couldn't ask for more. The house was conveniently located, close to gondola, hiking, groceries, friendly town and met our needs. Wish we could stay all summer. I would definitely recommend this property.

Mike and Lynn Gardner are top notch. ThankYou

This cabin is very conveniently located...probably less than two files from Mountain Village and access to Gondola. Cabin was very comfortable and well maintained. Beautiful views from large front windows. We will be planning future vacations at this cabin.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My group really enjoyed our stay at this house. The bedrooms and living space were very comfortable and cozy. It was equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean and well kept. The location just outside of town means you'll be driving to the gondola lot once or twice a day, but it's only a couple miles with no traffic or parking hassles. Best of all are the views! Thanks again for an amazing experience.

Fabulous stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 10 enjoyed this cabin tremendously! The property is beautiful, the cabin is cozy enough to feel intimate but large enough to spread out a bit, the kitchen is well stocked, and the game cupboard offered some great indoor diversions. The location was also great - so close to Telluride. Thanks for a wonderful experience - we'd love to stay again!

Telluride is an exquisite mountain village located at 8600' elevation, nestled in the San Juan mountains, the highest concentration of 14,000' mountains in the United States. Born in the 1880's, Telluride has shed it's mining legacy and transformed itself into a modern jewel of restaurants, shops and galleries. Offering world class skiing, a fabulous 18 hole public golf course, hiking, biking and mountaineering- Telluride has all the adventure you can handle. Numerous art and music festivals bloom throughout the summer, bringing quality entertainment to this very hospitable town. The jazz, blue grass and film festivals are national attractions. This is a place of energy and beauty that is still in touch with it's raw historical past. A rare gem that blends sophistication and exuberance with a town that still appreciates the magnificence these mountains have to offer. Come visit.

Golf: Mountain Village Golf and Ski Resort offers one of the most picturesque 18 hole public golf courses I have ever played. The back drop of the Snuffles mountain range is stunning. The par 71 course is well maintained and at 9500' elevation you will hit the longest drives of your life.

Ski: Telluride ski resort offers 1700 acres of skiable terrain, 16 lifts, 84 trails with a vertical drop of 3500 feet and over 300' of annual snowfall. Trail difficulty is balanced and the children care and learning to ski facilities are exceptional.
