AMAZING

  • 5 of 5

Another wonderful stay at the Farm. I can't say enough about this place, Gisele is a gem and Lucinda is awesome. The cozy fires, beautiful views, fresh bread every morning and the stocked refrigerator are all over and beyond any expectations, not to mention the 10-15 drive and you're in downtown Nashville. This is our "Go to" place when we just need to get away and take a fresh breath and realize what is important. I'm not a farm girl, definitely a city gal, but this place could convert me, the amazing wildlife, swans, horses, peacocks, cats, chickens are all reminder of God's gift to us and Gisele is kind enough to share all this with us, what an amazing lady. As I mentioned in my last review, please treat this retreat as if it is your own, respect it and cherish it so it will continue to be available to all of us. Thanks Gisele, Lucinda and the extremely nice and humble caretaker of all this beauty, you all make this so special. We can't wait to return!!!!

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at Evergreen Farm on a visit to Nashville in October. What a wonderful find for the world weary traveler! We loved the beautifully appointed cottage which was so carefully decorated and maintained. The cottage had all the comforts of home including a refrigerator with everything we needed for a big breakfast each morning. Best of all was the loaf of fresh bread delivered each morning. The property itself was absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I have a 250 acre ranch and we knew the effort involved in creating and maintaining the gorgeous natural infrastructure of this beautiful ranch. Best of all we could get back to downtown Nashville in about 15 to 20 minutes so we had the best of all worlds...availability of the wonderful music venues and restaurants along with the most gorgeous, private getaway we could imagine. We absolutely loved everything about this property and we can't wait to return!

Wilderness Retreat

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed three days. We stayed in the larger cabin, near the entrance. It was so lovely and so clean! The beds were comfortable and outside every window, we were blessed with beautiful views. I could see the horses in the fields, and we fed them an apple everyday. When we arrived, there were little vases of roses, candles galore and a well stocked fridge. Every morning, there was fresh bread outside our door. We brought our two dogs, who loved our morning and evening walks on the property. The owner is delightful and takes such great care of her property and the animals on it! We will be going back!

Lucia was our email contact and she was readily available for questions and very nice as well.

Storybook Setting

  • 5 of 5

Evergreen Farm is like walking into a storybook setting of Hansel and Gretel. The beautiful property is like none you have ever seen - lush and green, and so many varieties of plants! There is a lake that the cabin overlooks and there are several different types of geese and ducks to watch. There are peacocks walking around and actually perch on the railing surrounding the cabin's front porch so you can get a close up view! There are chickens on the property as well as many friendly kitties. The setting for the cabin is so picturesque and the cabin itself is like a little storybook cottage right out of Bavaria! Very warm and cozy and the King sized bed in the loft is extremely comfortable. We couldn't believe what Gisela did for us - a stocked fridge full of lunchmeat, fruit, juice, milk, butter, eggs, all the coffee you could drink and freshly baked bread each morning hanging on our front porch door! What an unexpected delight! Thank you, Gisela, for taking such good care of us and making our 30th anniversary so memorable!

Evergreen Farm is everything that I've read and more- we went for 3 nights in early October. The place is like a fairytale- beautiful property and great management. We brought our 2 dogs who loved exploring and looking for the outside cats that call it home. Our "kids" were sniffing and watching through the glass front door for most of the trip. In the mornings, we greeted the horses who were just at the fence line of the side yard. I suggest the 2 bedroom cabin if you want easy access and room to spread out. The 1 bedroom cabin is absolutely picturesque but the parking is a few hundred feet away so be prepared for that. The location of Evergreen Farm is perfect- 2 miles from the highway and really easy to get to downtown Nashville. Enjoy and book a few nights at Evergreen Farm- you will be so glad that you did.....we can't wait to go back!!

I've been here with my husband and again alone to write. This is such an inspiring place right out of a German fairy tale book. I love it here!
