This is a fabulous 2 bedroom plus sunroom, 3 bathroom executive suite. One block to the historic French Quarter, this second floor walk up is the perfect location to call home. Located in an historic building built in 1838, the building is completely gated and only accessed by the other tenants. The extra spacious unit boasts hardwood floors, central A/C and heat, full kitchen and beautiful views of the surrounding city rooftops. Large 700 sq. ft. balcony with 12 ft.double doors off of front bedroom and living room. Marble fireplaces, old brick fireplace in kitchen.
Frenchmen Street is THE place for the best food and live music in the city. One block to the French Quarter, one block to US Mint, 2 blocks to beautiful Washington Park, 4 blocks to Jackson Square, 2 blocks to the river trolley that can take you up St. Charles or Canal Street.(This trolley can also connect you to the convention center which is about 8 blocks away) It is quintessential New Orleans.

This building was never intended to be a vacation rental. All other units are occupied full time and are very unique. This unit is my home away from home, and is rented when I cannot be there. What makes this property so special is none of the apartments have been subdivided. The smallest is 1800 sq. ft. and the largest is 3600 sq. ft. Units have been showcased in New Orleans magazine.
Frenchmen Street is so unique, and is specifically for a special tenant. You must love jazz,and love the experience. Honestly, if you want peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. This apartment is in the heart of the music district. I personally have 2 children and stay there often, but it is geared for the true music lovers.
Just wanted to thank you again-everyone had a great time. It was wonderful to be able to stay together and not be crowded
The apartment was perfect for us, 6 adults. There are 2 bed rooms with attached bathrooms. Then the sun room was very spacious for 2 adults that sayted there. There is a day bed, a trundle that pulls all the way out and can be put any where. There is also a bathroom with washer and dryer attached to the sun room. The kitchen was nice but we didn't use it much and the balcony was huge. Overall it was just what we were looking for. I'm not sure what year it was built but like everything in the area is it very old. We were there in June and despite the age of the building the AC did a great job keeping us comfortable and the spacious apartment made it easy to share among 6 adults.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at the lovely place in the French quarter. We walked in and fell in love with everything about the property location perfect! stocked with coffee! balcony above the was wonderful to have coffee in the am and drinks in the pm. we so enjoyed all of the entertainment on the streets and the amazing music fest. Thank you soo much for the wonderful visit to New Orleans. we will definitely rent this space again! Absolutely Lovely!
This is a great apartment for a large group. The area is great- so close to all the main attractions. You can easily walk to the French Market, Jackson Square, Café Du Monde, etc. The apartment is right on Frenchmen street so it is loud at night. Most places do not stop playing music until after 3am so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs. Great location, great apartment very easy and hassle free rental!
Best place to stay. Breakfast on the balcony , late night sitting and drinking listening to the jazz clubs, even laying in bed at 2 am. I love this town.
No need for a car with this property! Walking distance to everything. This apartment has a washer and dryer too along with laundry soap, coffee pot and seasonings to cook with in the kitchen. We loved this property but there is a jazz club below and will play music until 3 am some nights. Bring earplugs! Otherwise the apartment is beautiful and perfect for anyone.The balcony view over frechman street is great. We even had a marching band come by! Celebrated my 40th birthday here and had a blast. We even found 40th birthday plates and hats left behind by someone else. A trip we will never forget!
Sistapalooza in New Orleans: perfect setting where the locals hang out. the apt. beautifully decorated and great jazz from the Maison jazz club floated in from the balcony doors. within walking distance of French market and nice restaurants. secure parking across the street one block up 20$ per day. An authentic NOLA feel.
This is the most sought after location in all of New Orleans. One block to French Quarter, one block to the French Market, one block to the trolley, and right on Frenchmen Street.
