Stunning 2 bed, 2 bath penthouse apartment overlooking Miraflores golf course. Wifi available in the apartment for a small charge. Located on the quiet, upper part of Riviera del Sol with long range views of Mijas and Sierra Nevada. A spectacular 100 m² terrace surrounds 3/4 of the apartment accessible from all main rooms. The elevated position ensures all day sunshine with wonderful views of Miraflores golf course and Mijas. Air conditioning throughout, fully fitted kitchen, 40' TV with English channels and 14 day catch up TV, CD and DVD player, large selection of DVDs, CDs and books. Secure complex with electric gates, own parking space with lift up to penthouse. Both bedrooms have 2 twin beds which can be made into doubles, there is also one sofa bed in the lounge. Ideally situated within a short drive to all main attractions, close to several bars and restaurants, golf courses and beaches. 5-10 min drive to the coast. Activities/beaches: The Costa del Sol has something for everyone. You can relax and get away from it all or you can try one of the many activities close at hand. Here are just a few:- the Torremolinos Aquapark, Malaga Indoor go-karting, Fuengirola Zoo, Sea World, Horse racing, Fishing, Horse riding, Sailing, tennis, Tivoli World enjoyable for adults as well as children. There is also Skiing at Sierra Nevada which is approximately 2 hours away. The skiing season is normally from late November to April. There are also a number of trips and excursions available, cable car rides, dolphin or Jeep safaris. If you are a beach lover there are many lovely sandy beaches within a half hour drive such as Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Cala de Mijas, Calahonda, Riviera del Sol, Cabopino, Marbella, Peurto Banus, San Pedro, Estapona and Torremolinos.

Outdoor smoking only please. The apartment has air conditioning to all main rooms. Secure complex with electric gates, own parking space with lift up to apartment. 5 min drive to the beach. Well set up for families & couples alike. Items in the apartment include; all cooking utensils, ironing board, iron, TV with English channels, DVD player and selection of films to watch, radio/CD player and also selection of CD's, DVDs and books to suit most tastes. The complex has a shared swimming pool situated in lovely gardens overlooking Miraflores golf course. Step free access from car park to the apartment via the lift. No steps to the swimming pool area. Apartment is all on one level. Please call with your requirements and we will advise on suitability.

Winter 2007/2008

My wife and I had the extreme good fortune to find this wonderful,well appointed penthouse apartment and book it for a 3 month stay. It is superb with an enormous horseshoe shaped balcony which gives sensational views over the golf course and down to the Med. There are more than ample facilities and utensils. The apartment is a wee bit away from the shops and you need transport, but we knew this and were prepared for it. Steve, (the owners friend) is always on hand to advise or help guests with anything they might need.

There are various shops for foodstuffs scattered all over riviera del sol and Miraflores where you can get reasonably priced groceries. Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Marbella are relatively short and easy drives away. Eroski shopping centre is just as you enter fuengirola and you can get groceries,clothes in fact anything you need there. There are plenty of cafe bars and restaurants within easy reach.

As I mentioned earlier, transport is required unless you are prepared to walk some distances ,but my wife has quite severe walking dificulties and once we were parked up at the apartment block had little difficulty in using the lift to get up to the penthouse and we didn't have one single problem with the lift in the 3 months we were there.

The owner is friendly,helpful and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I will certainly enquire about using this apartment again when we next visit the area.

As mentioned in my site, car hire is recommended due to the elevated position of the penthouse and the tranquil location. There are a number of great supermarkets, restaurants, bars, golf courses and beaches all close by, if you book the apartment and require details of these, I will be happy to recommend the ones that I have been to.

We had such a lovely stay the apartment is spacious and has everything you could possibly need

The views are stunning and can be seen from every part of the massive wrap around terrace

Having the WiFi was also a big plus

Lovely break in Spain

On arrival at the property met with Steve, who was a star. He welcomed us and ran through everything with finite detail, handing over the keys. Our stay with our friends in this apartment was most enjoyable, the weather was sunny although towards the end of the holiday the wind was very cold and cutting. The property had everything you needed, the fridge freezer being a nice size. With the large balcony/terraced area you could follow the sun all day. The location was good and we did find some nice walking areas near the property at the back of the golf course. A car is essential for the shops and obviously if you wish to visit the beaches or other areas. The drive from Malaga airport was fairly straightforward and took us about 45 minutes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable apartment in very quiet surroundings

Four seniors stayed at this very well kept penthouse. It is essential to have a car as the apartment is a long way from the main road, and on an uphill road. At first the apartment was difficult to find but Steve was a great help and came out to find us, as we were lost in the maze of buildings. The apartment is superbly situated overlooking the picturesque mountains and golf course. It does have its own secure parking space but we preferred to park on the road opposite the apartment as the entry to the secure parking was very steep. There is a lift up to the penthouse, right next to the front door. Steve is certainly an asset as he was always at the end of the phone if we needed any help. The apartment was clean and well furnished. Both the ensuite and family bathroom are spacious and well maintained. The beds are all very comfortable. There was plenty of towels and linen. The kitchen is a little small but we found enough crockery, saucepans, utensils etc. The cooker is a little slow. The patio around the penthouse is its biggest asset as you can find the sun and shade all day. We needed the heating on every evening when it became much cooler. Plenty of hot water available. The local shops are a five minute ride away.There is everything there you need from day to day. It is an easy access to the main roads, the A7 or AP7. It is also close to the beach once you have driven to the shops. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon. Many thanks Steve for your help.

Great appartment ! Stayed here several times over the years.. amazing sun terrace sun all day.. everything you need for a relaxing holiday... Comunial pools lovely and very well keeped.. Underground parking to keep your car cool as a car is esensual ! Air con in the appartment to keep you cool !! Super place ... And Steve is a great help If needed top man ... !! Totally recommend this appartment .

Miraflores golf, one of the best addresses in the area with more than 45 golf courses in the Costa del Sol region and 27 golf courses within a 10 mile radius of Miraflores itself. A short drive away you can enjoy world class shopping and dining facilities in Marbella or visit Spain's finest yacht marina at Puerto Banus and the new racecourse at La Cala. Day trippers can visit historic Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Gibraltar and Seville. The sporty will enjoy winter skiing at Sol y Nieve.

Miraflores is situated midway between Fuengirola and Marbella, close to Calahonda, Mijas, Benalmadena and Cabopino port & beach. 10 min drive to the nearest beach, 15 min to one of the best beaches on the Costa Del Sol.

Golf: The apartment is situated front line to Miraflores golf course, an 18 hole par 72 course designed by Falco Nardi in 1990 over 5000 metres long. The course is located in the hills of Mijas Costa, offering fantastic views. Greens and fairways are excellent and well maintained. Golf buggies are recommended but not essential. As well as having a friendly club house, bar and restaurant there is a golf academy plus 32 floodlit driving ranges. Tee times can be booked at the reception of Miraflores. All equipment can be hired on site. Miraflores has the only covered and illuminated putting green and bunkers.

The entire Costa del Sol is a golfers paradise and the unique sunny and warm climate make the area absolutely ideal for lovers of this sport. When Valderrama was chosen to host the Ryder Cup, the Costa Del Sol received world-wide recognition as being 'the best winter golf resort in Europe'.

There are many golf courses nearby, here are just a few that are within a short drive away Cabopino Golf, La Cala Golf, La Siesta Golf, Marbella golf, Mijas Golf, Monte Mayor Golf, Parador del Golf, Rio Real Golf, Santa Clara golf and Torrequebrada golf.

One of the best times of year for enthusiasts and non-golfers to enjoy the beauty of the Costa's courses is the summer season, when the fairways are at their least crowded. Good weather is virtually guaranteed with fresh mountain breezes making for pleasant playing conditions.
