Spacious 2 double bedroom apartment in pristine condition and located in Sandymount, one of Dublin’s nicest districts. 10 minutes to Central Dublin by car or take the train. Also near to the RDS in Ballsbridge, the AVIVA Stadium and O2 Arena.

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, sleeping 4 and a large sofa bed in the living room sleeping an additional 2 people.

The apartment has an open plan living room/dining room decorated in a modern contemporary style. The lounge has an L-shaped sofa, dining table and six chairs and comfortably accommodates six people.

The kitchen adjoins the dining area and has an electric oven, hob, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle, teapot and cafetiere. There is a full range of crockery, cookware and cutlery. There is also an iron, ironing board and a clotheshorse.

The shower room contains a large walk-in shower, toilet and vanity unit with integrated lighting. It is decorated with retro-look subway tiling and towels are supplied.

There are two double bedrooms both with wardrobe, storage unit, mirror and blackout blinds. They are decorated tastefully and come with good quality bed linen.

There is cable TV in the lounge with a wide range of channels and WIFI throughout the apartment.

There is parking available to the front of the apartment building for residents. Parking spots are not allocated so it is on a first-come-first served basis. There is usually availability however a space cannot be guaranteed and is restricted to one car per group of guests.

The apartment is located on Park Avenue, an elegant tree lined road in Sandymount. Sandymount village is a short walk away and has a good range of quality shops, cafés and restaurants. The beach at Sandymount Strand which is on Dublin bay is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

The No 1 bus is located one minute walk from the apartment and takes 15-20 minutes to get to central Dublin (Trinity College). The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport station Sydney Parade is a 7 minutes walk and will get you to central Dublin in 10 minutes.

Great Location and Very Convenient

The apartment was spacious and very close to UCD where my grand daughter entered her first year. The DART station was less than 10 minutes walk. The Tesco Supermarket was in the center of Sandymount 15 minutes walk tops. There is a pub bar called Mulligans next to Tesco where you can dine. We have travelled through Europe the last 40 years and at Tesco we discovered you can buy a take away meal that consist of a main entrée, two side dishes, and a desert all for ten euros, and delicious! The place was quiet and a very plus point is parking on site, vs looking for a spot on the street. We stayed there from Sept 2 through Sept 10. We would stay there again.

Comfortable Apartment - Convenient for Dublin

We spent a week in Dublin and found the apartment comfortable and very convenient. We had a car so the off street parking is much appreciated. The apartment is well equipped and located a short walk to the DART for easy access to the city center. Also a short walk to the coast line at Sandymount Bay.

Thanks to the previous holiday makers who had left a note on how to get the TV to work with the Set top Box :)

Excellent location, quiet neighborhood.

We spent three days in the Dublin area. This apartment was close to the DART and just a few short stops from Dublin. Everything was clean and in working order making for a nice and comfortable stay. We would come back the next time we visit Ireland.

Clean & Convenient - Met all our Expectations

No surprises with this VRBO, met all our expectations. As we were travelling with a rental car it was nice to have off-street parking for our stay. Conveniences are a short walk away so we never used our car while staying here (Groceries, restaurants, the Bus and Train). 10 minute walk to the train, then a 10 minute trip to downtown.

Note that of the several VRBOs we used during our vacation in Ireland, this is the only one that charged an extra Cleaning Fee and Damage Deposit (Damage Deposit promptly refunded days after our departure).

Great, quiet location for staying in Dublin area, nice 2 br, 1 bath apt, well equipped.

We loved this spot in Sandymount with parking and close proximity to the Sydney Parade DART station which put you into Pearse Station by Trinity College in 10 minutes. The apartment was comfortably and tastefully done in IKEA furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped. It had everything we needed for our stay, and was clean and very quiet. We would highly recommend this VRBO location.
