Make Memories at the beach in our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo.

Ready for a vacation? This is the condo for you! Well maintained 2nd floor, Building 1 condo with wonderful views of the beach and Gulf. You will have an assigned parking spot, just steps from the elevator, making it easy to move right in. Built before Sanibel building setbacks were established, this condo is in one of the closest to the beach buildings on the island! This is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The open kitchen, dining, living space allows everyone to be together in one large room. Our unit sleeps six, the bed set-up lets everyone sleep in a bed - nobody has to sleep in the living room on a hideaway sofabed. This condo is fully stocked, just bring your swim suit and flip flops and you are ready to relax on the beach on the lounge chairs we have provided, build a sandcastle, take a swim in the heated complex pool, explore the island and learn the 'Sanibel Stoop'- this is a great place to collect seashells. The lanai is the perfect location to enjoy breakfast or to unwind after a day spent exploring. Just don't let the sound of the waves put you to sleep! Too much fun in the sun - relax in the living room and enjoy a movie from our DVD library on the 42' flatscreen TV or select a book from the many we offer our guests. This is a non-smoking, pet free unit. 132 is in Building 1, and looks directly out over the gulf.

Sanibel has no stoplights, no high rise buildings and a dark sky ordinance - only low voltage lighting can be used at night. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. The Sanibel Lighthouse is a nice walk down the beach from our condo, as is the fishing pier. East Gulf drive has easy access to Periwinkle for shopping and restaurants and is just 5 minutes from the Causeway.

Being on the second floor in our condo puts you at the treetops, above the human noise on the beach but you are still close enough to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Electronics- We provide secure high speed internet/WiFi for our guests. There are 3 flat screen TVs with cable and DVD players in the living and guest rooms. Need a break from electronics - we offer books and games and a chaise for napping on the lanai.

Why Lori chose Florida South Central Gulf Coast

This is our slice of tropical paradise. Sanibel is the perfect place to escape to; laid back and slow paced - we come here for R & R and great family time. Three generations of family has been visiting Sanibel since the 1960's! This condo is large enough to allow everyone their 'own' space. We are close enough to the beach that we can wake to the sounds of the surf and enjoy the beachviews all day. Nothing clears your head like a stroll on the beach! Loggerhead Cay has onsite management, beautiful grounds and is one of the best maintained complexes on the Island. The easy access to all of the amenities on the island and to the causeway make it the perfect place to stay!

What makes this condo unique

We love to come to Sanibel and do nothing - no schedules to keep, we are on island time. Our children are spread all over the world and we treasure our time together as a family when we are here. Much of our time is spent on the beach or by the pool and we all enjoy breakfast on the lanai. Sanibel is where we come to reconnect with nature during the cold winter months. We like to start our day with a walk on the beach. And then there's our quest to find the best slice of key lime pie on the island - we get a slice at every restaurant we go to for everyone to taste and rate. We always leave here relaxed and reconnected with lots of new memories.

The best part of our condo is the VIEW! Photos are all accurate and show how close we are to the water. Nothing beats waking to the sounds of the surf! Our condo was recently remodeled and offers all the comforts of home with a beachy flair.

Fantastic View from a great condo

We found the owners very easy to work with and they accommodated our needs. The condo is nicely decorated and has a beachy feel although the best part of this condo is the proximity to the beach- that's why we are here. The condo does have everything we needed during our stay, fully stocked kitchen supplies, beach towels, beach chairs, a large thermos to take on the beach and even an umbrella. We did rent bikes and used them for getting around the Island for a couple of days. We highly recommend it and plan to return next year.

What a view

This is a great place to take a family...The view is everything we were hoping for, and the pool is fantastic.

My whole family had a great time. The keys were really easy to get, and the owner and management company

were really responsive. Make sure you try Doc Ford's restaurant if you go anywhere near Sanibel.

Location and view can't be beat! Steps from the water.

I will mention that at the date of this writing, the property is getting a major renovation so some of my comments won't apply after our visit. First, the view here is incredible! You really can see the water from virtually anywhere in the unit. The enclosed lanai means even on the hot days, you can close it up and have the AC cool the space so you can eat dinner looking at the view. The bathroom is nicely updated in the master but the hall bath is still vintage era, though functional.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools your will need, but if you were expecting matched dishes or high quality cookware, this isn't your unit. It does feel like I stepped into grandma's kitchen with the 1970s yellow cookware and mismatched dishes and silverware. I hope that is part of the remodel. The owners provide a nice assortment of beach chairs (probably 5 or 6!), an umbrella or two, various shovels, sand toys, and even a skin board and such for water play which were well used. This was GREAT!! Beach towels also included!

We had a small issue with the very dated 1970s accordion style master bedroom door which was repaired on Tuesday. (I hear this for is to be replaced with a real door! Can't wait, as this was our second stay in this unit and is the only thing I hated. ) the three beds in the guest room were fantastic and perfect for our family. Looking forward to less firm mattresses as the top bunk needs a foam pad or something. Other beds have such toppers which helps as all matresses are quite firm. It is hard to find the three beds, so I hope they keep this arrangement.

The pool in the complex is lovely and very clean as are the grounds so in all it is a very well kept complex from BBQ grills to shuffle board to tennis courts. Elevator was very handy. Overall, there are definitely more updated units, but not with this view at this price point. It's roomy and large, well appointed and likely remodeled by the time you get a chance to stay here. See you next summer! Can't wait to see the changes.

Perfect Family Vacation Location

This was our first time staying at Loggerhead Cay and it was perfect! This condo offers incredible views, easy access to the beach and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Lori was easy to work with and has a lovely condo at a good price. This is the first one we have stayed in that had beach toys, beach chairs and beach towels for us to use. We have stayed elsewhere on Sanibel but like this location the best. Looking forward to a return trip here next year!

Great Vacation Spot

Our family had a fabulous vacation week at Loggerhead Cay. Lori's condo is a great place to stay. The unobstructed view of the beach/water from the living room window is one of the best features. You are close enough to everything the condo complex has to offer, but it seems very private. The lanai is a nice way to start the day sitting in the sun looking out at the beach. The condo really has everything you need. Lori is helpful and responsive without being intrusive. We would highly recommend the condo.

Relaxation on Sanibel Island

Lori's Loggerhead Cay condo helped to enhance our visit, from the reservations to the actual stay. It was very clean and equipped with about anything you could need, from kitchen prep needs to beach towels and chairs to beach toys. We were impressed by the condo size as well as the view from the lanai. Very nice!
