Our newly refurnished(2008), bathrooms remodelled (2014), 2,150 square foot, 4 bed/4 full bath spacious and comfortable Phoenix unit has 3 separate family rooms-main floor, upstairs and downstairs, washer/dryer, dry sauna, fully equipped kitchen, dining room table that seats 12-16 + 4 bar stools, and wireless internet. Main rooms have large flat screen T.V.'s/cable/dvd's, t.v's in all bedrooms. All bedrooms have t.v.'s/cable/dvd's.
#212 is in an EXCELLENT location and largest 4 bed/4 bath at the Phoenix (2,150 sq. ft, instead of other 4/4 with only 1,650 sq ft)......size matters when it comes to comfort.
It is situated directly next to the clubhouse which means just a few steps to the heated outdoor pool (closed Labor Day-Thanksgiving, and mid April-Memorial Day),and hot tubs(closed L.D.-Thansgiving, and mid April-M.D.) instead of walking across the parking lot. The clubhouse has 2 hot tubs, swimming pool, pool table, workout center and private shuttle (winter only). The Mountain/Pedestrian Walkway is across the street and steps to the Kids Vacation Center and Gondola. There is a small Market next door.
The bedroom configuration is as follows:
1) Queen/single bunk (sleeps 3). This is in the efficiency room, downstairs and has own kitchen, microwave, stove, and refrigerator. Has seperate entryway, if desired.
2) King (sleeps 2). Main floor
3) Queen(sleeps 2). Main floor
4) Trundle(sleeps 2), 2 bunks(sleeps 4), double(sleeps 2)
and 1 Sofa sleeper in 4rth bedroom (sleeps 2)total-sleeps 10, also has sauna in this room. This is the 'bunk room' and is upstairs.
The condo, its' location, and amenities are hard to beat.
To name a few amenities when staying at The Phoenix: Concierge staff, 2 new hot tubs and heated swimming pool outdoors, private shuttle, family/meeting room, exercise room, and computer in the clubhouse.
I live and raise my 2 kids in Steamboat. I love living in this small and beautiful town and taking advantage of the many activities it has to offer. In the summer we take our 2 labs to the River to cool off, as well as mountain bike, and hike. Winter we take advantage of the fabulous skiing, and the frequent fresh powder that covers the ground most mornings. Living in a resort town has changed the way I view life. I value quality of life, and feel fortunate to live here. I am available to assist you with whatever you may need to make your vacation in Steamboat most enjoyable.

I owned a different 4 bed/4 bath at The Phoenix, sold it, to buy this larger (500+ sq. ft) 4 bed/4 bath with a better location at The Phoenix because I really love the layout of the condo and location: directly across from the Pedestrian Walkway, and next door to the clubhouse/pools/hot tubs. I also find this particular condo extremely quiet and peaceful.
The things I love most about our condo is that it's extremely quiet, spacious, and offers 3 separate family rooms...sort of like 3 separate condos-2 kitchens. The location is terrific, so close to the mountain/gondola/kids vacation center, and also easy access to main road/hwy. It's a homey and comfortable condo. I love all the log furniture, pictures and especially a large painting by a local artist of a Steamboat annual event: Winter Carnival.
We stayed in Phoenix 212 over Christmas. There was plenty of room to gather as family and friends all together! The kids loved the bunk room to have as their own get-away space. The walk to the slopes was easy, and the shuttle was always there within 5 minutes to take us anywhere our large group needed to go. Jane was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was available 24/7 for any pre-trip questions as well as during our stay. We are already planning another trip, and this condo will be our first choice!
This was our 8th trip to Steamboat for a family vacation and we were not disappointed with our choice of rentals. This condo is exactly as described and the owner is helpful and courteous. We would rent it again on our next hiking trip! There is a coffee/grocery shop just next door, a free bus stop right across the street and a couple of great restaurants within walking distance.
I recently stayed at this condo with a group of 10 other cyclists during the rest day of a week-long bicycle tour in Colorado. The property was as described and in excellent condition. The facilities were very convenient to transportation, with a free shuttle stop just feet away. Dealings with the owner were quick and very helpful. I would recommend this property without hesitation anyone needing a large property in the beautiful Steamboat Springs area.
We stayed here, and absolutely loved it! It was very clean and the owner was available with all our questions and concerns. It easily accommodated us and another family, with lots of room and privacy for everyone. We especially liked the free shuttle service to and from town, made getting around very easy. It's location is perfect, as you could easily walk to the Gondola Square and be entertained or get something to eat. The view is beautiful and we would definitely stay here again!
This is a fantastic place when you have several families. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and everyone was comfortable and had there own privacy. Great place for baseball teams. Very clean, comfotable beds, and well stocked with everything you need.
I just got back from my group ski trip to Steamboat. My group was 17 people and we stayed in this unit (Phoenix #212) and couldn't have been happier with our selection. The accommodations were exactly as described, fitting all of us comfortably. Unit was clean, comfy beds, spacious common area, modern kitchen, bbq grill, etc. The condo was just a 1 block walk to the Gondola, which made getting to the lifts very easy. The heated pool and hot tubs were perfect for relaxing after a great day of skiing. Owner was very easy to deal with and was always quick to reply to my emails.
I highly recommend this unit and will definitely try to reserve it again when I make it back to Steamboat.
Other recommendations that I can make based on my Steamboat trip: Strawberry Hot Springs (at night), rentals from Gondola Square (good rates, free overnight storage of skis, $4 for boots), City Market for groceries, and Mazzola's for great Italian food.
