-- ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION
Beautiful apartment situated in the oldest part of the castle with all its original features preserved.
1st floor: large and bright living-room with kitchen corner and dining area, reading-room, 2 double bedrooms each with nice baldaquin bed, double bedroom (French bed), bathroom with shower, bathroom with tub.
All of the windows of this apartment offer nice views over the Italian garden and over the courtyards of the castle.
The ambience of this medieval castle was amazing. It surpassed our expectations. Our only disappointment was that there were no screens on any of our three bedroom windows, which allowed bats to enter our rooms. We had to keep the windows closed, which was not good on hot nights. Otherwise, we loved our stay. What a great villa.
The castle was a great place to vacation with friends. The rooms were interesting and so different that anything else we could have chosen! Montegufoni is near enough to Florence that it was an easy day trip, and we were so glad to not be staying in the city! The views from the castle are amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here!
