All amenities, in a quiet area with garden, fits 8 adults, 3 bathrooms

It is our home and we rent it only when travelling. We leave it clean and empty cupboards when possible for comfortable stay, but note that it is not an empty hotel room nor it is available for long stays outside school holidays.Thank you.

Large modern family house with with all amenities, a garden, trampoline, other children's toys. In a beautiful rural suburb of Lausanne, with Geneva, Montreux, Gruyere and the Alps all within one hour's drive. Lovely walks and MTB from the house.

This 180 square metre, very modern house was constructed in 2010, and therefore benefits from up to date decorations and all modern conveniences.

There are sleeping places for up to eight adults, but it is ideal for 4 adults and 3 children maximum.

The underground floor of the house contains a play room/bedroom, a cellar, an independent wash room with washer/dryer and a heating room.

The ground floor consists of an open plan living room and kitchen. This contains a microwave and dishwasher and the living room/dining room has a large table, built in flat screen television, and an opening on the terrace with a barbeque. There is also an entrance hall and modern bathroom.

The first floor contains two kids rooms with single bed, a bunk bed and the master bedroom. There is also a modern bathroom with a lovely powerful shower.

The top floor of the house is a modern self-contained open attic with its own balcony and bathroom. This room also contains a home cinema system with projector and computer. There is a sofa which also opens into a double bed.

There is a split level garden which is perfect for children or simply relaxing in the evening. With trampoline and play house.

There is parking for three cars, two on the driveway and one in the garage.

This area is the first village on the outskirts of Lausanne, and although is close to the centre, and well served by public transport, it is remarkably rural and quiet. There is one of Switzerland's top golf courses with 500 metres of the house, and mountain bike and running trails within one kilometer. It is within 2km of Chalet a Gobet and the Ecole Hoteliere. This area is extremely quiet and peaceful. The house has no noise or annoyances.

It is very pleasant to spend time in the garden in the spring and summer. Children love all the toys and adults appreciate all the commodities of a house where people actually live (so it has very well equipped kitchen with all utensils).

Clean, spacious home in a quiet setting - courteous and helpful host

Well-appointed home with lots of room for our family (and luggage). Outside patios were used a lot during the late summer hours. The host provided very timely and useful sightseeing tips. Stayed in touch throughout the stay if we needed additional help or directions.

Very enjoyably experience. Recommended.

The forest is lovely for walks, and everything is reasonable distance from the house, but Epalinges village is very quiet so if you are looking for a buzzing city life this is not the place for you.
