Fabulous terrace house in Greater London with a single and double room. This house is a great oasis in which to relax after a nice time out in the city. 20 mins from London Bridge and 30 mins from Victoria it's an easy commute into the city

The Space

This home is a quiet oasis outside of the city. It is perfect for a family coming to London or a group travelling together. Enjoy a fully fitted kitchen, marble bathroom, dining room and free parking.

Guest Access

- off-street parking (please note that the space on the driveway is small but all of the parking in front of the house is also free)

- local park for children to play--the street is very quiet so children do play outside in the front of the house as well.

Interaction with Guests

-Host will not be present during the guest stay but will organize a meet and greet service and will provide an information guide so each guest will have the opportunity to find those little gems off of the beaten path in London! Feel free to ask any questions you have and to keep in contact via email. I am an avid fitness buff so can also help with running options, yoga, tennis, swimming and local gyms and great family options.

The Neighbourhood

This home overlooks a forest, which creates a serene and tranquil escape. It is close to the local pub and amenities, hence, guests will have the opportunity to relax before going into the city or to explore areas in Greater London or further afield.

Local Bus - 119 or 198 (10 mins to the main station East Croydon)

Train Station - East Croydon with easy links to London (20-25 mins) and outside of the city

Direct Train to/From Gatwick Airport - 20 mins

- Bus X26 from Stop: E8 @ East Croydon Station - has a service directly to Heathrow Airport

- easy access to trams and buses in Croydon and trams have easy access to Canary Wharf/Stratford

About Owner/Property Manager

Hello future guests,

I originally grew up in Canada and have lived in the UK for 11 years. I love to travel, learn new things, to eat and, to work off the mounds of food with exercise! I have spent a few months in Spain, France and Ghana so speak Spanish, French and a bit of would love to practice my languages or help someone trying to learn english! In my spare time you can find me at the gym at spin class or doing kettlebell training. I also love hot power yoga and as I said...I like to eat so I try and balance both my eating and exercise ;)!

So why South London? Although the centre of London offers amazing activities, I think the south provides some great options too! My favourite views of London - the top of Forest Hill or Crystal Palace at night to see the London skyline. For a relaxing day out travel to Richmond Park for cycling and deer watching and then head to Wimbledon common for afternoon tea! Finally, for a day out in the countryside head out to Box Hill for stunning views and some fresh air.

As a host - I hope to make your stay as fun and memorable as possible so if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

My home is a nice oasis outside of the city. London is a city of hustle and bustle which is amazing but my home offers the opportunity to relax after eventful days in the city. Guests can relax at a home away from home or can go out to eat and experience life as a true Londoner!

What makes this house unique

This property overlooks a forest hence the view is tranquil and peaceful. During the summer guest will have the opportunity to use the top of the line BBQ and to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

Perfect house!

We were 5 people staying in London for 5 days! The lovley owner meet ous with the busstop and showed ous the nice house, and told ous how to Get to London Brigde, and other atractions! We are going to stay here next time!

An enjoyable stay in Croydon

We were a party of four female adults and a 2-yr old. We found the property to be as advertised and the owner to be extremely accessible, helpful, and amenable to suggestions we made off-line to make things more convenient for future guests. The property is small but with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom. We did not make use of the conservatory because of the cold weather, but it would no doubt be very inviting in the warmer months. We were extremely comfortable walking around the neighborhood and using the public transportation which was very accessible with very good bus schedules to the Croydon train station. It was great to feel like we were returning "home" each evening after our sojourns into London for sight seeing and meeting up with friends and relatives. We would definitely use the property again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and relatives.

A cosy place to be for a London journey

The house was more than expected! Clean, cosy in a quiet neighborhood.

Samantha was very nice with us and left a few refreshments in the kitchen for our family because driving was long! Got Travel Cards to take a 5 minutes bus to East Croydon's train station to London Bridge or Victoria for less than 15 minutes! What else? Had breakfast or dinner in the nice! This is a recommended rental if you want to visit London or around.
