Situated at the heart of Sheffield within walking distance of much of Sheffield Hallam and Sheffield Uni student accommodation, walkable into a lovely selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, yet very peaceful.
Very suited for family/friends get togethers or re unions and groups coming to attend weddings or corporate meetings as well.
Endcliffe Park, Bingham Park and Whiteley Woods are all within walking distance.
The Shepherds wheel in Porter Brook Valley park,10 minutes walk away is a heritage site of interest to both adults and children.Sheffield Botanical Gardens are also closeby
Also ideally located for holidaymakers looking for walking or cycling holidays in and around Sheffield, with scenic walking and cycling routes available within 5 minutes walk. Peak District National Park is situated fifteen minutes drive away, The city centre. is five to ten minutes drive away.
The property has all the necessary amenities including kitchen, dining, sleeping and lounging facilities. TV is available, bed linen is provided and the kitchen is fully equipped including cutlery, however bath towels are not provided. The property boasts 2 beautiful landscaped front and back gardens for personal relaxation. There are two double beds and six single beds, three of which are folding. This is a quiet residential area so we would appreciate no loud noise or music outside after nine pm.
Also ideal for families, parents or groups who are looking to visit students.
Small groups of 2- 4 people and families are very welcome..Wi fi is available .
We had a great time staying in this property with lots of quick helpful communication from the host.
We used the property as a base for a reunion of ex-university students and it served us perfectly. Plenty of comfortable beds, a great kitchen for breakfasts together and loads of room for the cars.
Even better was the proximity to both Ecclesall Road and Sheffield City Centre where there are lots of great bars and restaurants.
Would definitely stay here again!
This was our second time staying here and I'm pleased to say we enjoyed it even more this time around! We had a large groups of adults and toddlers and babies and this is the perfect place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone to play and sleep, with a gorgeous rambling garden that the kids adored. And the added bonus...plenty of parking!
Ten of us stayed in this property as a base for a family wedding in Sheffield. We were very comfortable as there was plenty of room both upstairs and downstairs, and we all enjoyed a sunny weekend in the lovely garden with a trampoline. I was expecting three bathrooms from the description; in fact there were two rooms with toilet, basin, bath and/or shower , and one just a toilet and wash basin. The property was very clean with everything in good working order, and with a homely atmosphere. The owner answered all queries promptly, and arrangements for check in were efficient. I would recommend the property for a large group of family and friends. The house is in easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants and pubs at Broomhill or Hunters Bar, and the city centre and the Peak district are accessible by public transport or car. The Francis Newton Wetherspoons pub on Clarkehouse Road does reasonably priced meals including breakfast.
Stayed for 1 night with a group of friends for my hen do and a bit of a Sheffield university reunion. The house is really well located, on a safe and quiet road, and is incredibly spacious, with lots of room for the 9 of us to stay. The house was clean and warm, though the decor is definitely 'quirky'! The communication with the owners was excellent, and they cheerfully answered all of my questions really quickly!
Stayed overnight with extended family but wish we we had been able to stay longer! The house is so large and was clean, comfortable and well equipped and owner very responsive to questions etc. Kids loved the trampoline in the back garden and we had a great time here. I'd thoroughly recommend this place for family get-togethers and large groups!
We rented the property to use for a two day management review and planning session where our team could get together in an informal setting away from the office.
The property was great for our needs, with all the facilities we required. The kitchen is very well equipped, heating is effective, the rooms are well furnished, so we were very comfortable and it suited our needs well.
The property is located in a leafy suburb close to University buildings, but only a 15 minute walk from a great selection of bars and restaurants for our one night out.
The owners were very attentive and helpful. Easy to contact and very willing to accommodate our needs.
The only negative point would be that the internal décor and carpets are quite dated and worn and whilst that was not a problem for us it might be a little disappointing for anyone renting the property for a holiday.
