Our repeat R and R getaway
This is the second time that we have rented this property and we loved it. It's perfect for large groups and perfect for making memories.
Thank You!!! We love to hear that you really enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again>
Clean, with plenty of space and easy access.
Family gathering near the lake, this was a perfect location. Plenty to do and great support!
Gorgeous property. Great for families. Peaceful.
Our extended family stayed in this cabin for the Clemson vs. Auburn game. We had a blast. Very convenient to campus. Just before our stay, we learned that we would have to evacuate for Hurricane Irma and he was great, allowing us to extend our stay for 2 additional days; with our cars loaded down with our most treasured items, it was huge help to us not to have to move. I recommend this property highly. Despite the inclement weather at home, we had a fantastic stay.
Opening Clemson football weekend / Labor Day
Beautiful spot on Lake Keowee. Nice deep water cove across from Warpath Landing so plenty of good people watching while safely outside of boat traffic lanes. Large brick fire pit is a nice touch as well. Only complaint is house is not very sound tight internally. Thin walls afford little privacy indoors but other than that this place is really nice.
nice home, not for me
The location was amazing! Beautiful lot. House was nice but zero privacy. Master was completely open when I was ready to go to bed it wasn't happening.... the furniture in main living space wasn't comfortable, the basement had more comfortable furnishings. It's a nice house I just prefer more privacy.
Perfect location in quiet cove with the greatest dock! Really enjoyed fishing from the dock and floating in the cove. House accommodated us all comfortably and was stocked with everything we needed to cook. There were plenty of pillows and blankets. Beds, couches, arm chairs were all comfortable and rooms are decorated really well. Being an A-frame cabin and the dog days of summer, the top loft area where the master is located got pretty warm during the day but the AC did an excellent job cooling it down for sleeping. They also have multiple
fans in every room. Once again, this is an A-frame wooden cabin with no sound-proofing barriers so you can hear everything happening in every room and from downstairs like you're in the same room. Luckily, privacy wasn't an issue so it didn't bother us but there is no door to the upstairs master. It is wide open and looks over the den area. We had a great time and throughly enjoyed all amenities at the property. My only recommendations would be to give the exterior a good pressure washing as tons of cobwebs have accumulated on the walls and deck. The inside needs a good top to bottom cleaning too. Beautiful lake front windows and attractive light fixtures but many in our party mentioned the abundance of cobwebs. Outside of those minor issues, the house was great. The dock was fantastic. The location is unbeatable.
Enjoy fifteen State Parks within 30 minutes of the homes location. As well as major college sports, botanical gardens, and much more around Clemson University. The area is repeat with festivals, hiking areas, waterfalls, and everything a nature lover would want to see. But that is not all you can enjoy all the major plays that come up and down the east coast in Greenville SC's Peace Center for the performing arts. It and all Greenville has to offer are less than an hour away.
