Welcome to Beja, was once known as Pax Julia, a name that pays homage to peace between the Roman Empire of Julius Caesar and the ancient Celtic inhabitants. The Apartment Pax Julia is the perfect space for up to 5 people and with possibility of adding 1 cot. Walking access to historical sites, restaurants, supermarkets and shops in town. Located on the 1st floor without lift but with easy access by stairs.

Newly refurbished and very comfortable, it is equipped to meet the needs of those traveling on vacation or business but want to feel at home at the end of the day.

It has a bedroom with double bed 135x190cm and a bedroom with two single beds 100x190cm. Both bedrooms have wardrobe and chest of drawers for your clothes. There is a terrace-balcony connecting both bedrooms. The living room in the form of 'L' has a large sofa and a single bed 100x190cm and dining table and chairs for 6 people. The bathroom has a bath and bidet. On the marquee will have a washing machine, ironing board iron and other handy gadgets.

The kitchen is equipped with the basic utensils for confecionar your meals. All safety aspects have been reviewed by qualified technicians.

Bonito apartamento, acogida estupenda

El piso es precioso, los dormitorios muy agradables y acogedores. Maria nos atendió estupendamente. Se preocupó porque estuviéramos bien y sin frío. Nos preparó la cuna de la bebé.

Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado. Además algunas cosas las estrenamos nosotros.

También se agradeció la televisión por cable y la wi-fi.

Fue una estancia muy cómoda. Ojalá volvamos en otra ocasión, ya que nos quedaron lugares cercanos por visitar.

Great apartment in the middle of everything

I highly recomend this apartment - it is quiet, clean, safe and cosy. Maria is a great host and because we were on holiday, she gave us a "What to see in Beja" list that really called for adventure.

As we got out of the door there were several shops. Restaurants and cafes serving great food, banks, pharmacies, all kind of tradicional street shops.

Museums and Churches are also nearby. We just parked our car near the apartment and spent a great week learning a lot about Beja and Alentejo, from pre-history to our days.

Could not have had a better experience.
