Come Relax Today!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife and I are both in the real estate industry and own a brokerage firm in Orlando, FL named Altura Investment Realty. We are both graduates from the University of Central Florida and have three great kids. We work hard and play hard and this cabin is the most relaxing place we know. We get to visit several times a year and enjoy snowboarding, fishing and just relaxing.
Steve Perez purchased this cabin in 2004
We fell in love with the high country of North Carolina and wanted to own a little slice of heaven. We actually used to rent this cabin from the previous owner and fell in love with the views and tranquility it had to offer. The cabin was perfectly located to all we enjoyed doing so when it came up for sale we jumped at the opportunity. We've owned the cabin since 2004 and have loved every minute of it!!
If you ve ever wondered what it would be like to live at TREE TOP level , with all the comforts of home ..........well , this is for you ! The photo of the distant , not too distant mountain view , does not do justice to the delight it provides from the cabin's deck . Unit Very clean on arrival . Actually, housekeeping staff was just leaving. Kitchen well equipped. Steve , the owner , was quick to respond to our calls and just an overall pleasure to work with. If considering for snowy winter days , I would suggest 4 wheel drive , but no problem getting up or down for us with conventional tires and really a short drive up or down the mountain to wherever you need to go. Some of these mountain retreats can seem to take forever, getting in and out , specially when time matters. I d definitely rent again ! don & cheryl .
The cabin was very nice. It had everything we needed. The view was fantastic! The cabin is very private, it was a lovely get away. Close to restaurants, shopping and a very nice winery. We will definitely be back.
This is a really nice 2-bedroom cabin in a nice development in Frisco. The development has a trail (not traveled due to weather), tennis courts and a swimming pool (great for a cool off at the end of the day). It is close to Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, etc. Went hiking over many trails and white water rafting. The cabin was comfortable with all the amenities you need. Deck with a BBQ grill which we used almost daily for dinner. The cabin was nice and clean when we arrived and we can highly recommend the cabin and location.
The Cozy Cabin is a true gem!!! It was perfectly tidy upon check-in, and allowed for an amazing stay! My family of 4 (2 boys ages 13 and 3 plus mom and dad) stayed here for just under a week and had a fabulous time!
Location - Really can't think of a better location!!! The cabin itself is secluded and so peaceful...with AMAZING views! The community is adorable and has everything that one could possibly want! We enjoyed the pool, the playground swings, the basketball goal, and the nature trail (which is a former ski slope and pretty neat to see!). I walked from the cabin down to the river each day and enjoyed what felt like a peaceful rainforest! I'm from Florida, but have never seen so much lush flora in all of my life. I also encountered a few wild bunnies out on their morning stroll too! The neighborhood is just lovely! (So much so that we are looking to buy in the area!!!) The cabin is close to EVERYTHING that you would want to do in the area. We went to Grandfather Mtn, Linnville Falls, Linnville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, and even took a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway to Mt. Mitchell (about a 2 hr drive, but WORTH it! We packed a picnic lunch and stopped at one of the overlooks!) There is so much to do that we have a whole list of things for our next visit!
The Cabin - the views from the deck are simply stunning! The furnishings and finishes are updated and clean. The beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked! We ate all of our meals at the cabin (except for some picnic lunches - which I highly recommend!). We spent the days exploring and then came back to the cabin and enjoyed our evening meal on the beautiful deck! We stayed out on the deck until nearly 10pm each night - it stays light out in the summers for quite awhile!!! There is no central AC in the cabin (window units in both bedrooms downstairs) and it was still very comfortable! We were there July 2-7th and never had an issue with feeling warm!!!!! (BTW...we saw TONS of fireworks from the deck during the July 4th holiday!!!) The only thing missing from the cabin was maybe a pitcher (for making lemonade or tea), but literally everything that we needed (minus a pitcher - which was no big deal) was there! The grocery store was only minutes away!!! There are several amazing restaurants in the area (according to friends and Tripadvisor), but we didn't eat out at all. We did order take out from The Pedalin Pig one night, and it was pretty terrific! Excellent Stay, overall!
My husband and I stayed here for a few days for our wedding anniversary. This was the perfect spot. You can choose to stay in the cabin and relax or drive 20 minutes to boone or blowing rock to enjoy the restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.
Our family rented this cabin for three nights for my wife's birthday. We had not been to the Boone area before. The location of this cabin was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We went hiking at Linville Falls, went out to dinner at the Pedalin Pig, swimming at the community pool, checked out Boone and App State, went tubing down the New River, and out to eat a couple other times. The home is stocked with all the kitchen essentials, coffee pot, microwave. The views from the deck were amazing in the morning, and watching the sunsets with an adult beverage. Steve the owner is very responsive and great to work with. We would highly recommend this home, and will probably return sometime in the near future.
Must see attractions close by include Grandfather Mountain and the suspension bridge. The Linville Caverns and the Linville Waterfall are awesome. The cabin is close to Tweetsie Railroad which has rides and games for the kids. There are also 3 major ski resorts within 15 mins along with hundreds of hiking trails. There are trout fishing guides and whitewater rafting guides in the area. The town of Blowing Rock and Banner Elk has excellent shopping and dining. The best part of the cabin is the mountain view from the back deck.
