Do you dream about a place with crystal clear turquoise water? Uncrowded beaches with pale pink sand? Boating to secluded islands? Snorkeling and diving with no one else around? World Class Deep Sea, Reef and Bonefishing? A place with casual beach front bars? Well, Abaco & Great Guana Cay are for you!
Beach Walk Cottage is a recently remodeled three bedroom, two bath house in Great Guana Cay’s Settlement. We’re very close to the Public Dock, just make a right and then a left at Milo’s Vegetable Stand and you’re there! We’re 150 yards to one of Abacos most beautiful beaches and within walking distance to the World Famous Nippers and Grabbers. Be sure not to miss the Nippers Sunday Pig Roast and sunsets at Grabbers! Just around the corner from Beach Walk is Kidd's Cove Bar & Restaurant and a little bit further down the road is Fish Tales Sports Bar and Sunsetters at Orchid Bay.
Although there are ceiling fans throughout the cottage, there’s central air conditioning for those days that you need it. The master bedroom has a very comfy king-size bed. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds which can be pushed together to form a king, and the third bedroom has a double bed. There are two full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, and everything else you might need. There’s a Weber kettle barbecue and even an outdoor shower!
Hang out on the 'surfboard' deck with a cocktail and watch the 'world' go by. You’ll meet lots of nice people. This is also the perfect place for a barbecue or your morning coffee. If you’re into a more indoor mood, hang out at the bar inside complemented with a hand-painted tropical mural. The cottage is filled with lots of original art done by our family, we take great pride in offering a charming home away from home. Even Martha Stewart mentioned Beach Walk on her blog...she loved the colors!
We have TV, wifi and a VHF radio, but no phone. You can listen to the Cruiser’s Net each morning on channel 68 at 8:15. It’s a great way to hear about restaurant specials, weather, what’s happening in Abaco, and have a few laughs.
Great snorkeling is right down the palm lined path, so be sure to bring your gear. You'll be amazed at the colors of the fish and coral and how clear the water is! A rental boat is the perfect way to see Abaco and all the surrounding cays (pronounced keys) and we can help you arange that. If you forget your snorkeling gear there are some masks and fins at the cottage, some beach chairs and umbrella.
We’re confident that you’ll love our little piece of paradise as much as we do. We will do our best to accommodate your party and make sure you have the best vacation EVER!

Tina Ferguson purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Tina Ferguson chose Great Guana Cay
If you love crystal clear water and white sand beaches, Great Guana Cay is the BEST! We first visited in March 2006 and a year and a half later we had Beach Walk Cottage!
What makes this Cottage unique
Nearby miles of uncrowded pristine beaches, turquoise gin clear water, great snorkeling on the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world, boating and island hopping, deep sea fishing, it just doesn't get any better than this!

What a time!
My wife, parents and I recently stayed at Beach walk Cottage and had a fantastic stay. The house was very cozy and was in a perfect centralized location. We were walking distance to restaurants, and a beautiful beach. The house was everything that we could have asked for. The beds were very comfortable and the house gave us plenty of room for hanging out and having meals together. The side porch was perfect at night for star gazing and the screened in porch was nice for sitting and relaxing. The house care taker Unni met us at the ferry and helped us get settled in. She was very friendly and was more than accommodating. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this wonderful home, you will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to come back!
Quaint but spacious home in town
The Cottage provided all the necessary amenities. It has a bit of space and a pretty cool little nook for meals or games, a screened porch and outside table with chairs. It is within walking distance of most restaurants and stores and even the beach.
Great cottages Guana Cay
Cute historic cottage steps from the beach and the settlement. Guana Cay is small and quiet and for those who love the powder sand, good snorkeling and old town atmosphere. Grandkids had fun at Nippers Easter egg hunt.
Nice House, Good Location
This is a nice, clean house in a good part of Guana. The updated portion is cheerful with comfortable and attractive decorations. The AC was nice and cold. The property was very clean when we got there and well maintained.
The only downside comment is that it is on a main road for the workers to get to the nearby construction company or to head to Baker's Bay. The road is busy and a bit noisy around the time of the 8:00 AM ferry. Not terrible but a bit loud. This would not keep me from renting again.
Great Location in the Settlement
We stayed at Beachwalk Cottage on December 27th, 2017 - January 2nd, 2018. The location is in the heart of the settlement between Grabbers and Nippers. The house was spacious and worked well for our family. Be aware that the roosters are all around and have no clue of the time. Make sure you are prepared to purchase paper products, such as toilet paper, paper towel and garbage bags. The price for this cottage and dates we rents was perfect. Host and site manager were great too.
Fit our needs exactly
We've been going to Abaco for 28 years but never stayed on Guana. We were looking for a centrally located cottage for 4 days of kicking back and getting to know the island. It was a perfect base of operations. Super comfortable beds. roomy living room and a basic but fully working kitchen. The caretaker was very helpful and everything was as expected. A great value.
