Andrea & Alvina Asfalti purchased this Villa in 1980
Why Andrea & Alvina Asfalti chose Corciano
The villa is build in 1980 by Fernando Pochini, my husband's late grandfather. Since he passed away, and the grandmother decided to move to the senior house to get closer with her friends, the villa remained mostly empty and not until the last year, we decided to give its life back to once the most gorgeous panoramic villa in Umbria. We think that it is a pity to leave such a beautiful villa empty. My husband has grown up with this place and wants to keep the integrity of the villa and honouring his late grandfather's work. Therefore, we decided to share this villa for anyone who like to enjoy a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature and wants to feel a very little bit of Italian side.
What makes this Villa unique
The panoramic views of Umbrian valley, sunset and outdoor games and indeed the pool !! Check our reviews from guests :) If you like cooking, there are many Supermarkets nearby, with 5 mins driving distance and Fresh market every Sunday morning in Pian Massiano. We do also have a private chef, who can prepare or cater italian lunch/ dinner for big group. And for anybody who are interesting to learn italian cuisine, you are welcome to join our chef in action at Trinita's kitchen during the preparation. Of course this can be available upon request only.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.

Our stay in Umbria was absolutely wonderful and this rental is completely what we had hoped for. The house is absolutely stunning, great amenities and a lovely location with stunning views. On top of that, Alvina & Andrea were fantastic hosts and provided us with so many great recommendations in the area. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning.
We had a fantastic experience in Umbria. The villa's location was spectacular with beautiful views of the italian countryside. The villa and surroundings were very relaxing with all of the amenities anyone could want, including a fabulous pool with a shade covered courtyard. Our hosts were more than helpful. They made themselves available to answer questions and help us plan daytime activities. Their knowledge was invaluable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fabulous Italian experience. It could not have been more perfect.

Beautiful spot - amazing views and fantastic pool!
The house is only an hour and a half's drive from Florence and two hours from Rome. It is situated in beautiful Umbrian countryside with views of Lake Trasimeno which we visited on several occasions. We were two families of 5 from the UK and we spent 2 lovely weeks at Casa Trinita. The views are amazing and the house works really well for a group of this size. It needs a little updating but I know the owners are planning on this and they couldn't have been more helpful before and during our stay. The swimming pool is brilliant - a really good size and our kids spent hours and hours in it everyday. We would definitely recommend this property.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you've enjoyed the location and the charm of Casa Trinità. Your input is very important to us as we strive to improve our guests' experience and maintain our high ratings. We are in the process of refreshing our Interior furnitures, kitchen and electricity systems in the house.
Thank you so much for being a wonderful guest and please come to visit us again in the near future.

Wonderful weekend in Italy with friends!
We were a group of 6 friends and had such a wonderful time at Alvina's place! The location is almost surreal, beautifully set on a hilltop with a magnificient view of the surrounding area! The rooms are very spacious and clean, big kitchen and several bathrooms, big pool with many lounge chairs and a bbq. There is also plenty to do in the neighbourhood and Alvina and her husband are very happy to help you find your way and give suggestions on where to go and what to do/see. Definitely want to go back there some day!
Thank you, Charlotte! I think Grandma will be proud of her place when she hears your comment :) We were really happy to welcome you and your friends in Perugia and thank you very much indeed for being our lovely guests. I hope you are planning to come more often here and don't forget to call me then ! See you soon and all the best from PG!!
The location is just perfect! Beside it is very close to many local amenities, highway, city centre and lake, our guests still can enjoy their privilege like any other s exclusive private villa. Casa Trinità is located in the top of Trinità mountain and with it is gorgeous panoramic view, our guests can enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday with whole family or group of friends.
Umbria is known as the green Heart of Italy. By time, it is become known too as the capital of jazz and chocolate, due to its two famous festivals in July (Umbria Jazz) and October (Eurochocolate).
There are many small medieval village and towns in Umbria which still celebrate the harvest time and their most popular cuisine in local village feast or famous as 'sagra' how local people named it.
The festa and sagra in small Umbrian towns are the place to go if you like to participate in or observe the real Italian village life. Usually there is excellent food, music, dancing and a lot of happy people enjoying an evening in the open air.
There is an endless choice of “what to do in Umbria,” from art and history to nature to food and wine
And if you are wine lovers, do not forget to visit Umbria in end of May, there are many open cellars start from Torgiano to Montefalco.
Umbria was known as Tuscany's less alluring sister. Not any more: these days Italy's “green heart” is every bit as celebrated as its more famous neighbour. The reasons are simple: the region has all Tuscany's attributes, but its cheaper and less crowded.
True, it doesn't have the big set pieces of Florence and Siena, but it does has a coronet of far more intimate and easily visited hill-towns – Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Gubbio, Todi, Spoleto and Norcia. Each has enough to keep you busy for a day or more, and none is more than a few miles from the next, making Umbria manageable and straightforward to explore.
When you've exhausted these towns there's a second tier of charming and even more intimate smaller centres, such as Montefalco, Bevagna, Spello, Trevi, Narni, Bettona, Città di Castello, Città della Pieve and more.
There's also the same glorious pastoral scenery as Tuscany – the olive groves, vineyards and cypress-topped hills – as well as high mountain landscapes such as the Monti Sibillini that are the superior of its neighbour's own Monte Amiata or Alpi Apuane.
Finally, there are qualities to Umbria beyond towns, truffles or cypresses. Umbria mistica – mystical Umbria – some have called it, or “la terra dei santi”, the land of saints, after the hundreds of saints born here, including St Valentine and the two fathers of Western monasticism, St Francis and St Benedict.
It's hard to put your finger on what sets Umbria apart – some quality to the light, a haze to the hills, a certain gentleness to landscape – but once you've visited you'll understand, and wonder how this varied and beautiful region ever languished in its neighbour's shadow.
