The villa, thanks to its convenient location overlooking the bay most evocative of Praiano overlooking the deep blue sea: it offers a magnificent view thanks to large terraces that surround that look, on the one hand, the famous Conca dei Marini and by ' another historic Saracen tower, named 'the Sciola', open to the public. All set in a frame of copyright framework. Author, represented solely by generous Mother Nature, from which to draw energy and inspiration.
The villa is on the edge of Praiano, between Positano and Amalfi, right on the famous beach of La Praia. The villa is on four levels. For each level a separate apartment, and all it has a terraced outdoor space. At the first level, starting from the bottom, you will find "La Praia". The second level is "The Cove." On the third level is "La Barca" and finally the fourth level is "La Limonaia". You can reach the sea by a staircase that starts from the villa and leads directly to the beach. The villa is located approximately 1 km from the center of Praiano, where you will find restaurants and shops. A mini market with a stocked wine cellar, the stop for the Flavio Gioia, internal Praiano line at 500 meters and the nearest beach (Praia Marina) accessible through a staircase. The villa can be reached from the street level along a public pedestrian path, passable with scooters. You will not need a car. If you do not have one, you can park along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a public parking. The villa is located in the pedestrian zone, crossed by a road that leads to the heart of the town of Praiano. The shops are really at hand, and if you want to try the classic cuisine based on the Praiano cooks fish, famous throughout the world, you should only choose one of several restaurants and taverns of the town. The villa is on four floors, each of which corresponds to a self-contained apartment. All apartments have spacious terraces and enjoy the same view. The villa has a total of 21 beds, therefore, lends itself to accommodate groups of people.
All apartments are elegantly furnished with taste and elegance, in keeping with local tradition. The rooms of the house are embellished with hand-painted ceramic tiles from Vietri style, typical of the Amalfi Coast style. Large vaults characterize the environments adorned with stucco, all performed by local workers.
The apartment "La limonaia", features a terrace garden, architectural work, entitled 'A garden Sea Praiano', a work that blends the context to which it belongs.
In addition the rooms are equipped with air conditioning / heating.
There are numerous places of interest reachable: Amalfi, Ravello, Vietri, Minori, Positano, Sorrento and Naples with its beauty.
From the villa you can take many paths, the most famous is the "Path of the Gods", a unique nature trail in the world, from which you can admire breathtaking views. A path between sky and sea!

"La Praia", so named this lovely suite overlooking the sea, with a large living room with kitchenette, a sofabed, a large double bedroom with a wonderful view of the sea. It can accommodate up to four people. With a large terrace with solarium.
My husband and I chose to stay in Praiano for our honeymoon in late September, and this rental was absolutely perfect for what we needed! We stayed in the bottom La Praia apartment. It was very bright, clean, spacious, and the view from the patio is breathtaking. There is a super market about a 10-minute walk from the apartment, where we were able to buy groceries for the week, including fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, olives and bread. We enjoyed taking our breakfast on the terrace every morning, and left to explore the coast during the days. Once you figure out the bus schedules, it is fairly easy to get around from Praiano.
The only thing that could potentially be improved is increased communication about the apartment before you arrive. What it includes, information about the area, etc. but I've tried to include some helpful information below.
A couple of notes :
- The villa is not accessible by car. When you first arrive, you will meet Lucrezia (the property manager) at the super market Tutto per Tutti. From there, you have a 10-minute walk with your luggage to the apartment. This walk includes a lot of ramps and steps, so it may be easiest to pack light!
- If you plan on having American coffee in the morning, I would recommend packing your own. You won't find Americano at the supermarket, but could order at a restaurant or shop. I packed some Starbucks Via packets, and they were perfect for making my coffee to sit on the patio in the mornings. If you have room, I'd also recommend packing a couple of small plastic ice cube trays. We packed a cooler bag for days we went boating or for taking a small picnic to the beach.
- Pack or buy beach towels when you arrive, as the apartment only has small towels for showers.
- The apartment is fairly stocked with the basics for the kitchen, but it is pretty minimal. If you plan on doing any elaborate cooking or have any specific needs, I would plan accordingly.
- DO go to the restaurant Il Pirata near the Marina di Praia. The Marina di Praia has a small beach, and is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. The view, calamari and rose wine is to die for.
I plan to write some thorough reviews about our stay on the Amalfi Coast on my blog at dakotachic.com. Feel free to reach out to me there if you have any questions. We would definitely recommend staying in Praiano and at the Villa Angelina. We loved it!
Great apartment with breathtaking views. It's location high on the mountain make it somewhat of a trek to get there but the final destination of the accommodations make it all worthwhile.
Clean, and well maintained make the apartment homey and comfortable. We had a minor incident with the toilet but Lucrezia, the go to person was on it right away to rectify the problem and it got resolved. Lucrezia along with her husband were such wonderful people and such a pleasure to get to know. They are the resource people to see for any tips when vacationing on the amalfi coast.
Great restaurant on the way up the mountain to the apartment and convenient grocery store nearby as well.
Praiano is a great location as it right between amalfi and positano and therefore easy to get to these popular places by public transportation.
Loved our stay.
