Welcome to our Amish log cabin in Wisconsin's Black River Falls area. Guests have said our cabin is cozy, comfortable and offers a sense of peaceful relaxation. We are located on one and a half acres of towering pines, with no neighbors right next door! Yet we are only minutes from Hatfield, hundreds of miles of the best ATV trails in the midwest, fishing, thousands of acres of prime county forest hunting land and all the area has to offer.
This past summer some of the highlights our guests have mentioned is an annual area bike race, climbing the Levis-Trow Mound, bare foot water ski adventures at the Blue Moo and hours of fun at the local lakes!
The area is a little bit of heaven for all you fishermen out there. Rivers, streams, lakes and flowages cover the area, so you'll have plenty of choices to catch the 'big one.' Many craft fairs and flea markets are held just miles from the cabin, or set aside the third weekend in September for Warrens annual Cranberry Fest! Maybe you'll want to try your luck at the Majestic Pines Casino? Some guests just want to to relax on the porch swing and watch the wildlife, read a book and get a nice fire going in the outside fire pit area.
Ladies, are have you been looking for a great place for a 'Womens Only Vacation.'? We've had a wonderful response from the ladies who have gone and said it was relaxing, enjoyable and just what they needed!
Whatever your reasons are for coming, you'll be able to find something to fit your needs. We hope you take this opportunity with family or friends to get away, relax, and treat yourselves!

This is the 3rd log cabin Jeff and I built and we have plans to keep on going. They are beautiful, fun , relaxing and they give pleasure to everyone who comes. It does not get better than that!
Jennifer Pulley purchased this cabin in 2009
My husband and I built this log cabin with tree's we logged from the site and had milled with the local Amish. We have enjoyed learning log cabin building techniques from the Amish and buying great home-made candies from them too! The decorating inside is a fun mix of things we've picked up on our travels out west, from Alaka, from old barns, flea-markets and wonderful friends.
My perfect stay at the cabin is,'turning off my phone, bringing a great book and reading it while I'm sitting on the porch swing, having a cup of coffee. Then dinner a local supper-club and a great night's sleep with the sounds of wind in the tree's.'
Wow! We are so glad your stay was excellent and that you had a chance to explore the area and enjoy the cabin.
I stayed at the cabin with two good friends, one of them is getting married so we decided to surprise her and do a girl's weekend at the cabin! I highly recommend staying here. My friends and I enjoyed making our meals in the cabin and there were many cooking utensils available so we could make what we wanted. We would have spent time grilling outside, but it rained all weekend. I personally love that this cabin has heated floors! It makes the cabin so warm. The cabin was also very clean! I would definitely choose to stay here again and I hope to in the future!
Beautiful and cozy, this little cabin feels like home. The comfy living room has 2 couches (one a hide away bed) and a good sized TV with DVD. The floors are heated. The little kitchen has all the utensils, cookware and dishes you might need, and dish towels and clothes are provided. Upstairs, the loft is roomy, and the beds are comfortable. Although the ceilings are slanted - watch your head! We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, and explored the surrounding area. Nice park just outside of Black River Falls that has a great trail up to a peak where you can see out over the whole area. Lots of shopping opportunities in the surrounding communities as well. Would definitely like to go back!
A wonderful weekend getaway!
The Amish cabin provided us with a quiet, AWESOME stay in the woods. The owners were very helpful and prompt with all communications. The cabin was clean, comfortable and we had all the kitchen wares to cook for ourselves. We (our dog included) loved sitting on the porch swing! There is a lot to do in the area especially for the outdoorsy types. We bought groceries at Gordy's mkt. in BRF-great local store with great prices and super customer service. Went into BRF for hand scooped local ice cream at Mocha Mouse. We had a great meal at Castle Hill Supper club. We will definitely be back for another visit.
This was a great place for the husband and I to get away from it all. We wanted privacy and got it - it isn't terribly far back from the road, but they did a great job positioning it so that you couldn't see the road. A deer strolled past us one night while we were sitting on the porch swing, we bought fire wood just down the road and enjoyed ourselves around the fire. It was a great place to come back to after fishing all day. The cabin was gorgeous. It was a beautiful and unique place to stay!
