About David Winch; Genise Winch

This is our retirement home. It is quiet and a great place to relax. It Is our home away from home. I grew up just across the border and we would spend summers on the lake.

We had a great 3 weeks at this house near Lake Bomoseen. The house had everything we wanted, television, wifi, modern kitchen, plenty of room and screened porch/deck. It also has a dock where we could be entertained by boat on the lake and my children/grandchildren could tube/kayak and swim within 5 minutes walk. There is a beach within walking distance along with a restaurant and bar. We are so happy with the house we will be staying 4 weeks next year.

Perfect Family Vacation House

  • 4 of 5

The house was great for three generations of family. The kitchen is totally stocked, complete with seasonings. It was comfortably furnished, clean, well equipped, and conveniently located to beautiful Lake Bomoseen and Crystal Beach -- a fun place for kids.

Great Lake House!

  • 4 of 5

This house is fully stocked on a nice piece of property within walking distance to the lake. All you need to bring is food, drinks and your bathing suit. There are tvs in everyroom along with wifi if you have kids that want to play video games when they aren't out at the lake. There is no a/c but there are fans in every room that keep it comfortable even in the summer humidity. The house is minutes from local restaurants, close to Castleton and only 15-20 minutes to Rutland. If you haven't been to Lake Bomoseen the lake is not touristy like Lake George. Very peaceful and a great vacation spot for families or couples.
