The quiet surroundings at the Mahana at Kaanapali offer uncommon privacy, yet we are very close to the activity of the Kaanapali Resort area. Take a short walk up the beach to one of the nearby resorts for fine dining and entertainment, or take the short drive into historic Lahaina town for sightseeing and a multitude of fine restaurants and shops.
Groceries, videos, souvenirs, etc. are only a five minute walk away.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a gourmet sunset dinner, and all the table settings and linens. There is a washer and dryer in the unit.

I love this location because it is right on the ocean, it is a very quiet property yet it is close to shopping, restaurants and activities. The grounds are meticulously kept, and the building has been beautifully updated. There is a great walking trail that starts here and goes for miles towards Lahaina.
I love the sunsets on the lanai and the fact that you can walk right out onto the beach at the front of the property. The BBQ areas are great, you can have a sunset dinner without going out.

We have been returning to Maui for over 20 years and usually stay in the Kannapali area. This is the first time we have stayed at Mahana #1014 and we loved it! The oceanfront lanai was accessible from both the bedroom and the living room, and the living room ceiling to floor windows provided unlimited views of the whales and surf also. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in addition to a full kitchen and beach accessories. The pool/hottub is beach front - along with a shuffleboard court - and there are lounge chairs provided in the grassy area between the building and beach, which was an ideal option to have for lounging while watching for whales and turtles if you don't feel like getting sandy. There's a code for the gate to Duke's restaurant right next door and a 5 minute walk the other way takes you to grocery store with Paradiso Pizza for take out options. Whaler's is a 5 minute drive with great restaurants and shopping and Lahaina 10 min max for all the action on Front Street. Perfect location without the crowded hotel feel! Great for families but also for couples like us who are looking for some quiet get away time.
We stayed here for our ten year wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful and comfortable condo... well furnished and stocked. The attention to detail was wonderful! Great view! Great location! MUST STAY HERE!!!
The view from the condo is breathtaking. It was a very relaxing 6 night stay for us after having stayed our first 2 nights in Nahiku off the Hwy to Hana. The condo is very clean, and the recent renovations are great! We have no complaints. The location is really convenient to both Old Lahaina Town and the northwest Maui shores. We highly recommend this spot!
My husband and I had a wonderful time in our home away from home experience. The condo was just recently remodeled and was so beautiful and well appointed. The pillows and sheets were luxurious. Will be going back for more.
The condo had an absolutely gorgeous view which was our favorite part. Location was also fantastic, walking distance to the farmer's market, grocery store, and a few other shops. The beach in front of the condo was wonderful with incredible snorkeling...beautiful fish and many many sea turtles that you could also watch from the lanai. Check in was easy and we had great communication and directions from Sandy. The condo is a bit dated, which the listing pictures clearly depicts, but was still clean and very functional for all of our needs. We had a fabulous time. Thank you Sandy.
Spectacular views, the condo itself is very well managed and kept. It is completely renovated with a very modern look. Kitchen is well stocked, they have beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels. They even have binoculars to view whales etc from your Lanai..
highly recommended, we will surely come back to this condo again!
