El Cortijo de los Caballos is a rare gem being one of the very few Cortijos left in the Marbella area and is situated in a quiet valley near to the picturesque white village of Benahavis and 10 minutes from Marbella and Puerto Banus, it is also just a 5 minute drive to the beautiful beaches of the Costa Del Sol.

Recently renovated yet retaining all of its original charm the property resembles a tropical oasis with its numerous palm trees and flower beds, lawned terraces and romantic shaded courtyards. Its secluded location makes it possible to truly escape the crowds at this relaxing and tranquil retreat whilst still being able to enjoy the nightlife of Puerto Banus and Marbella.

The Cortijo is ideal for use for private parties, creative writing & painting courses, seminars, detox and mind, body & soul retreats as well as a private rental for large groups of family or friends who wish to holiday together but still retain some privacy.

Formerly an equestrian centre, this stunning Cortijo has since been sympathetically converted into a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom Cottage and 11 Casitas with self catering facilities and private terraces or gardens. Hi there,

My family and I came to Spain in the eighties and purchased an old riding school which was converted over the years to what it is today, a picturesque Cortijo ideal for large groups who like to holiday together whilst retaining a fair amount of privacy at the same time.

It has been run very succesfully by our wedding planners Rachel and Johnny for wedding groups in the summermonths for the last 3 years and will now open its doors in the offseason also as it seemed a shame to leave it empty when the weather is still so good. The Cortijo has been totally renovated this winter and is now completely airconditioned with a large indoor bar area for the not so warm days.

We fell in love with the gardens and the charm of the property, it resembles a small oasis with its numerous palm trees and shaded lawns. We knew it would make a fantastic holiday home when converted and renovated appealing to a wide range of different people from all ages and nationalities.

The Cortijo de los Caballos is located only 10 mins from Puerto Banus, just off the A7 in valley between three golf courses. Although only 1km from a Commercial Centre and bus connection, it is recommended to hire a car. Local taxi fares are not cheap and only the taxi from and to the airport comes to the same amount of money for a weeks car hire (around 180E- ask us)

Please note it is only possible to rent the whole place and not individual casitas. Capacity 28 people plus children
