Experience the sights and sounds of birds chirping and chattering in the early morning sunshine on your lanai or from the nearby tropical palm trees. And enjoy the spirit of Aloha as your stress and tensions evaporate and you begin to experience all the wonders of the Big Island of Hawaii.

You can view whales, spinner dolphins, and outrigger canoes right from the windows and lanai. Step across Ali’i Drive to White Sands beach (aka Magic or Disappearing Sands) and experience body surfing or just lay on the warm white sand and enjoy the sound of the waves lapping on the shore, and the laughs of beach goers around you. Or, go one mile to the renowned Kahalu’u Beach Park where you will find the best snorkeling on the island. You can swim with honu (turtles) and enjoy the beautiful tropical fish.

One of the great features of White Sands Village Resort is its close proximity to White Sands Beach and a restaurant. If you don’t feel like cooking, some of the best food in Kona is available less than one block away. It’s also a convenient drive to both Kailua-Kona town and the Keauhou Shopping Center. Shopping is always only minutes away.

When evening approaches you return to your island getaway and back to the lanai to enjoy a spectacular sunset. With luck and a clear horizon you may spot the elusive 'green flash.' It will be hard to say Aloha to all this at the end of your visit. But, remember, Aloha means, 'until we meet again.'

The Living, Dining and Kitchen are very spacious.

The MASTER BEDROOM is Spacious, and Private. It has a Queen Size Bed and the Second Bedroom has 2 Twin-size beds for 2 Guests or family. Linens are provided for your ultimate comfort. There is a TV in the Master bedroom.

It has a Gorgeous Large Pool, four very nice barbecue grills, several FREE TENNIS COURTS , and a GAME ROOM with a Pool Table. It also has a spa (hot tub).

We offer as a vacation rental our condominium to discriminating, non-smoking guests when we are tied up with our mainland duties. With that in mind, THE KITCHEN HAS GRANITE COUNTERTOPS AND STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES AND we keep our kitchen well equipped with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, and stove. We supply cooking and baking equipment, sharp knives, quality dishes, glassware, and utensils, and all the usual small appliances plus nice amenities.

KONA GOLF COUNTRY CLUB is about three miles away. Kahalu'u Beach, the best snorkeling beach on the island is about one mile away.

No smoking; no pets.

Deposits:

* CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED -fees May apply

* Deposit is required to secure reservation. Balance is due by check to avoid credit card fee 30 days prior to arrival for low season, 60 days prior for high season. Condo Info, Directions and key instructions will be emailed to you ten days prior to your arrival date assuming that full payment is received.

* Please note that our condominium is a SMOKE-FREE ZONE and that PETS are not allowed on premises.

An additional out-cleaning fee will be applied to billing for all stays.

*KEYS: If keys are lost there is a $25 Replacement Key Fee for Each Key.

Cancellation Policy:

* Sixty days prior to reservation date a full refund minus $150 Cancellation Fee

* Cancellation refund within 30 days is subject to re-booking. *Cancellation within thirty days and no shows will be charged in full unless re-booked.

* All cancellations are charged a $150 booking fee on a confirmed reservation. No Refunds on monies paid for Holiday Cancellations. Cancellations must be in writing. (Electronic mail constitutes written notice when a return receipt is requested and confirmed.)

* Deposits ARE NOT Refunded during Special Holidays and If full payment has been made - NO REFUND (New Year's, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or during Ironman Triathlon Week and the Kona Billfish Tournament.)

* No Refunds Due to Inclement Weather, Circumstances Beyond our Control or No Shows or Shortened Stays.

We had an awesome time here and our Condo was great! We would pick it again..!



We stripped the beds, washed the linens & left them folded on the beds . Dishes are done and in the dishwasher. One load of towels are in the dryer to be put away.

Paradise!!!

My husband and I took a much needed vacation and stayed in this unit for 10 days. From the moment we walked in, we knew our vacation had begun. This 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom Condo was large and airy. Beautiful wrap around lanai over looking White sand beach and the awesome pool.

My husband enjoyed the brand new sauna that they just put in. Gorgeous kitchen with with all kitchen items that were needed.

Our daily morning beach walks were incredible. Listening to the waves every moment really makes you feel island living.

Loved this place and will definitely be back.

Wonderful!

Our family of 4 (all adults) loved staying at this condo. The wrap-around lanai is amazing - it provides a great view of the ocean, plenty of space, and great cross-breezes through the condo. The view is excellent. The beach is incredibly convenient and beach towels and chairs are provided. Magic Sands is a small, crowded beach, but the water is clean, the bottom is sandy, there are swells for boogie-boarding, and great sand for sitting and relaxing. The kitchen is a good size and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The entire condo is in excellent condition. The only improvement needed is the fan in the second bedroom is noisy. The only other downside is that between the beach and the busy road it's quite noisy. However, that's the tradeoff that you make for the excellent location.

Great location

We had a fantastic Kona vacation once again this year. The views from this condo are amazing and the sunsets are the best. We spend several mornings watching the whales jump and play in the ocean right off the lanai. This was our first Kona trip where the sand at Magic sands beach was gone but were still able to access the water and got to watch as the sand magically returned over our two week stay. Accommodations were described and our family wouldn't hesitate to stay in this unit again :). As a matter of fact, we are in the planning stages for 2116 !. Thanks Gayle for the top notch service and a very comfy condo.

FABULOUS location and condo!!

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this condo and location! The construction upstairs was still going on while we were there in February, but if you're not there during the day (which you shouldn't be if you're in Hawaii!), then it's not a big deal. They aren't working early in the morning or at night. Everything is as shown in the pictures, and the WiFi works great! We are absolutely going to book this condo again in the future! The wrap around lanai is unbelievable and the views are just incredible - plan to stay home for the sunset! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that some people might have problems with the steep stairs up to the condo, but I think there may be an elevator? We never searched that out.

It is far enough out of town that you would have to have a rental car or taxi (or you can jog the 3 miles into town along the Ironman route!), but there is a free parking spot that is super large and accessible!

We highly recommend this condo!

Vacation Spoiler

We had very bad experience in this condo. Our first morning in this condo, we woke up to a very loud noise (see attached video). The noise was so loud that my 6 year old started crying. We found out that the noise was coming from the condo right above us which was undergoing major construction. At that point I started calling the property manager who would not pick up my phone call. She was also unavailable the previous night when we needed help with the directions to the condo. I had to get hold of the condo owner in order for the property manager to contact me. Even at that point the property manager just texted me, asking me to leave the house and come back later. She very promptly mentioned that since we signed “the contract” there is nothing she could do about it. I had to urge her to call me. When she eventually did call me, she was making fun of the situation and CHUKLING about it. All she said repeatedly was - “You signed the contract there is nothing I can do about it”

I understand that probably the situation was not under her control but all I expected was for her to be a little courteous and understand my situation, instead of just indicating that I was stuck in that condo.

I went back and read “THE CONTRACT” after my phone conversation and turns out they do have a bit about construction snuck in! So be aware and unlike me do read “THE CONTRACT”.

With our luck, the resident manager of the condo complex was somehow able to get the construction to stop for two days. We are sooo thankful to him. He really did save our vacation. During our stay, for two days construction was also halted due to Christmas. We just barely made it out of there without losing our sanity.

The construction in the upstairs condo is ongoing and looks like will be going on for a while.

Although the condo has good view of the ocean, it is located right on very busy/noisy road. The complex pool was very filthy (my kids got excited when they found a cockroach in the pool).

Owner's Response: NEITHER I, THE RESIDENT MANAGER OR OWNERS Were Notified by Anyone that the Work was Scheduled for the Unit above so there is No Way We could notify the Guests and Due to it being the Holidays , Everything was SOLD OUT. I Did Not Receive Any Phone Calls from this Guest and when I found out there was a problem, I Contacted This Guest Immediately. I NEVER LAUGHED, She is Totally Fabricating that as she thought I could stop the Work that was going on. I Was In Immediate Contact with The Owners and the Manager and We Discussed the Matter in Great Detail and I told the Manager when there was a Gap between guests and he said he would Contact the Owners of the unit above as I did not have their contact info. The Manager and I agreed that Most of the loud work could be finished between guests and so the work was stopped and that was Accomplished. It was very unfortunate that the Owners of the condo above them chose to start the work during their vacation. The Guest Was Totally Unreasonable in every Facet and she Told me I could stop the workers if I wanted to and I told her that I had No Control over the workers as they are not working for me and I tried and offered everything within my Power to this Guest and she Refused Every offer I made to her and the owners do have the right to work on their condo whether here in Hawaii or on the mainland as it could have happened where she lives on the Mainland As you Can See by the Guests Review, SHE WAS Very Difficult to work with and would not Accept or Consider any Suggestions that was Offered to her in the Interim and as you can see by another Review that I just received that this situation and Guest was out of the Ordinary and Out of our Immediate Control and Those Guests Loved the Condo and ME and THEY HAVE ALREADY BOOKED IT AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR.

Can't Wait Until Next Year Again

I wanted to convey to you the wonderful experience we enjoyed in your condo

at White Sands Village. Although we have stayed in White Sands Village several

times over the past few years, our visits were not as “scenic” and enjoyable as

this year was in your condo.

The pleasure began as we walked through the front door and had our first view

of the well-appointed furnishings, wall-to-wall glass view of the ocean and palm

trees outside, just beyond the wrap-around lanai with either dining or sitting

enjoyment for 6 outside diners overlooking the scenic Magic Sands beach and

surfers directly across Ali’i Drive. The wonderful, constant 84 degree temperature

was ideal for keeping the 4 sliding glass doors open to take advantage of the breeze.

As we did quite a bit of cooking in, we were pleased with the fully stocked kitchen

utensils, cookware, stainless steel appliances, and spacious granite countertops.

We were also very pleased that the standard spices, etc. were available and not stored

in ‘the owner’s cabinet’.

The comfortable living room furnishings were well positioned to take advantage of the

views, plenty of light fixtures and overhead lighting (and fan), large dining room table,

stereo, tv with cable, wi-fi, current carpeting, and the wall clock that I was not able to

get working, even with a new battery!

Both bedrooms were also well appointed with comfortable beds, ample lighting (and fans),

plenty of clothing storage, and the master bedroom sliding door with nice view and breeze,

as well as the flat screen tv.

We also enjoyed both clean and charming bathrooms well stocked with the necessities and

the washer and dryer in the master bath. The available linens, towels, and beach towels were

also a nice added feature. One of the impressive “attention to detail” items were the 4 beach

chairs, beach ice cooler, water-weanies, iron, snorkel equipment, beach towels galore, and

an assortment of sun block in the master bath cabinet.

The grounds, parking, garages, elevator, large barbecue area, beautiful pool, are all in spotless

condition and well maintained. They even resurfaced the driveways one day during our stay

and Brenda in the main office made us aware when we checked in.

It must not go unsaid that working with you in the planning stages is very impressive. Phone calls

are returned in a timely manner, documentation is thorough, and the entire process, for the most

part, is very smooth.
