Inside the bright and spacious apartment is well presented in a modern and practical open plan style, with WIFI access and all the must-have comforts to hand.
Guests can easily unwind on the sofa to the sitting area, which is further complemented by a TV, a useful sideboard and double French doors which lead out to a sunny private terrace.
The well-equipped modern kitchenette is ideal for preparing tasty homemade meals in and is accompanied by a stylish dining area for 5-6, as well as an outside dining area for 4. Boasting a lovely sunny aspect, the private terrace easily allows guests to wine and dine their holiday away in the sunshine.
Couples can relax and enjoy a good night’s rest to the modern double sofa bed, which features to the open plan living area. Children can easily be accommodated too within the apartment, with a modern set of bunk beds provided to the spacious entrance hallway.
The studio apartment is further complemented by a large family bathroom fitted with a bath tub and overhead shower. Within the modern and popular lakefront residence guests will find a private garage to hand and boat mooring facility, alongside easy access to a public shingle beach which is ideal for lake swimming.

The ancient commune of San Siro also offers close proximity to the famous resort town of Menaggio, just 17 minutes drive away.

The beautiful Swiss lake capital of Lugano (28 km away) also offers the perfect way to spend a day or evening, with designer shopping, boat trips, cultural events, bars and casinos. For a cosmopolitan day out to remember Milan (82 km away) too offers an abundance of city highlights to enjoy.

There are Golf clubs around Lake Como: The Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club is Italy's oldest golf course. Established in 1907 with 18 holes Par 70, it is located above Menaggio near Croce, in Grandola ed Uniti, approx. 20 min. by car. Green Fees: Weekdays €55, Weekends and Holidays €70 Euros; Golf Cart Rental €36.

This beautiful lake region of Italy is not the best for skiing as you may imagine, despite its scenery, crisp air and near perfect visibilty and mountains capped in winter snow. It does however have Skiing opportunities at local resorts for a day out.
There is a small ski area on Mt. Lema, not more than 10 km from Lugano, but you have to be lucky to have enough snow for skiing. In Ticino, the local Swiss Canton, the best places to ski are probably either San Bernardino (south of the pass of the same name) or Airolo (south of Gotthard pass). Both are reachable in about 1 hour by car across the Swiss border.
There are direct trains to Airolo as well from Lugano and hence from Italian Stations. To S. Bernardino there is only a bus connection. For more snow try Andermatt (on the north side of Gotthard pass) which has normally good snow conditions and a good choice of runs.
The closest major ski resorts are St. Moritz and Madesimo toward the Splugen Pass which is approx.100km.
