Suite on Sparkill Tidal Creek in Piermont
Beside operating a B’nb I also run a small wellness center & day spa in Piermont, where the focus is on "Whole Body Beauty. From my experience over the years I am still learning that it is not enough to have good skin, or just be in physical strong. It isn't easy do find that delicate balance that always seems somewhat illusive to all of us. How to do less, and be more. All this has led to incorporating, nutrition, meditation, skin care, yoga, Feldenkrias method, sound therapy and other modalities into my daily life, finding ways to use less effort to achieve , create more and harmony. I enjoy helping people learn how to help themselves. It is never just one thing. In addition I have other interests, that include computers, organizing, inventions, scuba diving, performing arts, theater, writing, interior decorating, and gardening.

The Firehouse is located on the Sparkill Creek, whose tidal waters flow to the Hudson River, cascading from a man-made waterfall that passes under the oldest bridge in Piermont. The creek was once used as a canal for barge traffic and you can still see the curious little draw bridge, also called a lift bridge made by the King Bridge Company in1890 just downstream behind the post office. It is the only example of its kind and is considered a local treasure. The back of the house was used to film a movie in 1916, in which the creek was turned into a Venetian Canal, for the box office success "The Hungry Heart". Just a short walk brings
