COTTAGE just renovated, equipped with every comfort"

About the property

Independent apartment in villa with park, incredibly central Rome!

The villa, which is located in the COTTAGE is located in a park of 5 000 m. q. surrounded by massive walls.

This ensures peace and quiet, while residing in a bustling city district, but also plenty of parking.

The COTTAGE has a private entrance.

The Janiculum hill, from whose terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view, and the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, are in close proximity.

At 50 meters from the entrance gate, also it stops the fast tram leading to Piazza Venezia, in the center, passing through the historic Trastevere neighborhood, very appreciated for the many typical restaurants, where to drink, eat and listen to music.

About Kerstin

We are an Italian family consisting of a father, a german mother and two teenage sons. We live in a large mansion house, with several apartments (all independent) used to receive guests. We started this business for a relatively short time and carry out with enthusiasm. Our guests repay us for all the efforts, proving, so far always very happy with the choice made.

Kerstin purchased this chalet in 2002

Very clean and very well equipped, we had everuthing we needed! It is near the bus and tram and very convenient location to go around Rome. The owners are very nice to give any info and they even drove us to the supermarket. We will definitely go back when we come back to Rome!!!

Hope we can come back here sometime.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage had every thing you could need - comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of hot water, equipped kitchen, and very nice little patio right out door for wine cracks and cheese in the cool evening breeze. Quiet and peaceful and secure.

But I would have to say the reason you must stay here are the hosts, Kerstin and Marco. They are terrific, so hospital, and make every effort possible to ensure you have the best stay possible.

Thank you, Kerstin and Marco. We hope to see you again.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much, Jerl and Karen. From your wonderful review, we understand you were really comfortably at our Cottage. That makes us a lot of pleasure. It seems that You have appreciated every aspect: - the bed, made by Italian artisans, equipped with a memory foam mattress, that can be set up as a double bed or as 2 single beds and can reach, where appropriate, a length of 2.20 meters (7.22 Ft); - the quietness, mainly due to the fact that our property is bordered by the park of a Convent; - our commitment to the best ospitality. You have been wonderful hosts. We sincerely hope to have you again, with us. All the Best. Marco and Kerstin Mons Aureus Resort - Rome

Nice little cottage

  • 5 of 5

The little cottage is on the owners property and is very safe and secure. It is a very quiet property away from hustle and bustle tourist area which is nice at the end of the day. The little patio is great for a relaxing glass of wine. It's located at the end of tram # 8 (casaletto) and is only a 2 minute walk to the apt. From Casaletto you are only a 5 minute ride from Trastevere Metro station and another 5 minutes to the heart of Trastevere and all the great restaurants. Take the tram to the other end (Venezia) and you are within walking distance to all the common tourist attractions. There is a really good grocery store at the stop for the Trastevere metro station on the tram. Easy to do with with your metro/tram ticket which is good for 90 minutes. The Vatican is easy to get to with the tram and metro but Kerstin drove us one morning to our Vatican tour which was really nice. We didn't cook other than simple breakfast but the kitchen has everything you need. Air conditioning, wi-fi and washing machine all worked well. The bathroom was large. Everything was very clean. I would recommend this place if you want something quiet at the end of the day and would stay here again. The only negative was that we paid the remainder of the bill when we first got there only to find out we had to pay another 28 euro tax when we were about to leave. We didn't mind paying it but could have been part of the price when first booking or could have paid it altogether when we first got there. I would recommend this place and would stay there again if we ever go back to Rome.
