About TJ Jones
Our family loves wildlife, the Rockies and the serenity of nature. We like to work hard and take getaways to this beautiful and refreshing place, in the mountains. The fresh air supports our health and wellness.
TJ Jones purchased this House in 2018
Why TJ Jones chose Allenspark
We grew up coming to Tahosa Ranch in the 1980's to 2000's to visit our grandparents in this cabin, playing in the creek and hoping to catch a glimpse of a moose. This is an idyllic place to enjoy a family vacation, romantic getaway, relax in solitude or hike for miles. Perfectly situated on Peak to Peak highway, nestled against the forest and minutes from Estes Park, where we love to take our kids and near the Rocky Mountain National Park, where we like to drive through and watch the animals on our way to and from the sled hill. A very lovely place and experience.

great place to stay
Had a great time here, would recommend! There was an issue with one of the windows in the Master when we arrived but communication was easy and it was resolved the next day. Great place to stay, and great views!
Great spot for groups!
This house was well equipped with comfortable sleeping arrangements, great toys/books for kiddos, games for adults, plenty of couch seating and dining seating for groups, an awesome great room for gathering and great bathrooms. We saw coyotes outside the house which was awesome and it's proximity to Rocky isn't bad! We had a great stay.
Great spot to explore RMNP
We had 10 guys for a few days and everyone loved the place. Ten was probably the most I would want to put in the place though with couches and futons I am sure you could get closer to 15. Kitchen was very nice, we cooked all of our meals at the house. Got a lot of use out of the huge charcoal grill on the deck. Property is mostly steep grade but it's walking distance to an entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park so we took full advantage. Nice little trout stream close by too, we caught a few brookies. Really great and private house overall. Would recommend to anyone.
Wonderful space for large gatherings
Great location just a few minutes from Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park, five or so minutes from Allenspark, and 15 minutes from Estes Park.
The space itself is perfect for large gatherings. We had a family reunion, and there was plenty of room for everyone, especially in the large living area. All the amenities were greatly appreciated, and the owners' prompt communication clearly shows they take pride in ensuring guests have a good experience. Would definitely recommend.
TJ and Emily were very accommodating and helpful when needed. Great location and beautiful property. Thank you.
We hope to come back to this lovely home
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Rocky Mountain National Park and at this lovely home. The owners are hospitable, the home is beautiful and lovely, and even the weather was nice. Five stars!
Tahosa Ranch is a taste of Mountain living. Hit up the Sled Hill in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Snow Shoe, Cross Country Ski, Ice Fish, Ice Skate! Hiking Trails right out our back door to the National Forrest. Call Kirk's Fly Shop and arrange a Llama Trip this summer, or Book a raft down the Big Thompson!! Fly fish at any roadside drop in or right out our front door in the creek, have had reviews of catches! Kirk's Fly Shop in Estes Park can accommodate many fun winter and summer activities and introduce you to the best guides for any occasion. We are less than one mile from the Wild Basin and the Wild Basin Event Center. Charles Eagle Plume's shop is about 4 miles down the road from the cabin and you must visit.
