An air conditioned two bedroom spacious penthouse apartment in the much sought after complex with secure underground car parking, set in a beautiful and convenient location in Torreblanca area.
Apartment will sleep up to six people comfortably. It has patio doors from both living room and master bedroom leading onto a large covered balcony with outside dining area, facing east and south, and sea view.
A spiral stairway from the balcony leads up to a large and private open air rooftop terrace solarium with barbecue and small covered area. From there one has magnificent, undisturbed views over Torreblanca, sea, coast line and Andalucian mountains.
The apartment has two full bathrooms with tubs, main one being en-suite. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven and stove.
The apartment features local TV and UK satellite channels on a big flat screen display, DVD player, mini stereo system, game console, and a laptop computer as well as free WiFi.
There is a lift from the underground parking up to the floor of the apartment. It's all wheelchair accessible.
Location has easy access by car and it is conveniently accessible also by public transportation. Trains from Malaga airport leave every 30 minutes during the operating hours. It takes some 30 minutes to reach the station closest to the apartment. Ticket prices are less than 2 euros per person. Local trains can be taken e.g. towards Malaga. Buses, which frequently travel back and forth along the nearby road (Avenida de Carvajal), can be taken e.g. to Fuengirola city centre and Miramar shopping centre.
Golfing: There are many golf courses within a short drive, and dozens in the region. The best ones around Marbella are within less than one hour driving distance.
Skiing: MonteCañada is only two hours away from the Sierra Nevada Ski Resorts which have become quite popular. In suitable weather conditions Sierra Nevada can be seen from our apartment's private rooftop terrace.
We are a family of four, and want to retire under Spanish sun ourselves, as soon as possible!

Buying this apartment was a result of a careful selection process. We were looking for a good blend of quality, sceneries, beach proximity, quietness, spaciousness, privacy, and accessibility. And we found all of that in this apartment!
Extremely well equipped penthouse apartment with spectacular sceneries, huge open air private rooftop terrace solarium, with a real BBQ! Regained UK sat channels - we are one of the very few that again have them!
It would be remiss of me not to tell the truth. I thought about not doing a review due to the fact that we really loved the place, so much so that I'm sure we will be returning later on this year, and we would love to keep it all to ourselves to get the dates we want.
However that would be unfair and very greedy. I fully and unreservedly recommend the apartment to all and do so without fear of contradiction. It's a lovely apartment and located in a very quiet area. It is all if not better than described by the owner. The owner Miika will answer all questions and enquiries very quickly almost by return Email which is a great service in itself.
You will receive a warm welcome from Paul (who looks after the place for the owner) when you arrive and you will find it Spotlessly clean and very well presented for your stay. The roof terrace is Very private and a great sun trap to get rid of the white bits.
Access to the Balcony can be from the lounge or the bedroom with the in-suite. It’s lovely to sit relax and dine on the balcony.
Our party was 2 Ladies and one Gent all in their 60's and with a hire car. Yes, Montecanada sits on a hill so if you’re fit and want to exercise then you won’t need a car. The Train Station is not that far away and there are often Taxis there, outside the Torreblanca Hotel, and the Rovers Return Bar on the round about which is a couple of minutes walk from the station. It’s a 6€ fare.
We had a great time in a lovely apartment located in a lovely part of the Costa Del Sol.

The apartment with fantastic balcony and nice views was perfect for four people. Can recommend. The only thing, which was little disappointing to our kids, was the pool: it was open only 4 hours in the afternoon during the period we were there. But luckily the beach was not so far away. Special thanks to Donna, who was very helpful!
We stayed two months (February and March) in this very nice apartment located in the Torreblanca neighborhood of Fuengirola. No problem getting to the condo from Malaga airport situated 20 minutes away since the owner had sent us directions and a detailed map knowing that we had rented a car for the duration of our stay. All the planification and the details of the reservation were made in a very professional way, the owner responding almost immediately to our emails.
We were met by Paul, a friend of the owner, who gave us the keys and explained all the logistic concerning the apartment. Paul and his wife who live in the complex were happy to answer all our questions concerning the location of supermarkets and other shops, beaches and places to visit in the surroundings. A bottle of mousseux and a box of chocolates were waiting for us in the living room, a greatly appreciated gesture.
The description of the apartment that appears in the offer reflexes exactly what you will be the having if you rent this condo. It is very well equipped, clean as a whistle and the presence of the very large private terrace on the roof is a big plus. For those renting a car, the access to the interior garage and to the elevator bringing you directly in front of your apartment is also very appreciated.
The complex is situated 650 meters from the main road and the bus stop that will bring you in the center of Fuengirola or to surroundings cities; but, to get there you must walk down quite a steep hill. You will find a large supermarket at 2.5 km, the town center around 4km and the beach with the 8 km Paseo Maritimo at 900 meters. A car is not mandatory but recommended for farther visits or for everyday uses.
In resume, we strongly recommend this apartment for those who consider visiting Andalusia and in particular the Costa del Sol. Very interesting one day visits can be made from the condo to the beautiful white villages of Frigiliana, Mijas, Salobrena or Ronda. Also, Nerja and the Balcony of Europe, Marbella and its port, Benalmadena are a short distance from the appartment. The visit of the Alhambra of Granada could also be made in one day but you would need 2 or 3 days to visit Sevilla and its cathedral, the old section Santa Cruz and the many beautiful gardens (a must).

We have been to this apartment many times and had a lovely relaxing holiday. It is very spacious and the roof terrace is a huge plus as it means you can sunbath all day without leaving the apartment. The apartments themselves are on a hill but we dont mind the walk into the centre....even with a pushchair. If you prefer to catch a taxi back its roughly 6euros.
The apartment is very well equiped and is spotlessly clean. The only drawback for us this time is that we went early and the pool wasnt open, so I would check the pool opening times if you like to sunbath round the pool. We would highly recommend staying here. We look forward to returning next year :-)

We were warned that it is a stiff climb to Monte Canada but once we sussed the routes it was fine with quiet roads. Very quick to the extensive and quiet beaches. Good bus and rail connections meant that public transport trips out were fairly easy.
I was with my teenage daughter and her friend. I was able to go out walking/cycling somedays while they went out on the train or to the beach, which worked out well.
Ken next door was very helpful too.
my wife and I spent a week in monte canada and found the apartment brilliant for relaxing in a get away from it all environment - the apartment had all we could possibly need for the week including a welcome pack and full UK tv channels (beware the evening spanish channels) I would return exept that I prefer a shorter walk to the shops 20mins at least - local dogs that bark incessantly in the mornings and evenings - and the horrendous taxis fares back up the steep hill, a four minute ride costs between 7 and 9 euros. I would have hired a car had I known the problems.
We were urged to use Carlos car service from the airport to the apartment which would normally have cost 30 euros for the 30 minute drive but our flight was delayed and we were charged 50 euros to get to the apartment and 30 euros for the return. Carlos was a great guy and looked after us well but he was used to get us in to the apartment, give us the key and show us around - I feel that this service cost us extra and for this reason and for others listed we would not use the apartment again.
There is some building work going on behind the apartment but it is not invasive and did not cause us any problems.
We had a fantastic holiday in the MonteCanada complex.
The apartment was spacious, clean, had everything you could possibly need...and the most enormous roof terrace.
The pool was lovely and the beach only 10 minutes walk away. The station where you can catch the train into surrounding towns and into Malaga is also only 10 minutes walk away.
When we arrived at the apartment the owners were there to meet us and provided a welcome pack with wine, food and drinks in the fridge - what a great start to our holiday!
There is no nightlife or a shop close by (15 minute walk to the nearest bar and small supermarket) which is a shame but the facilities in the apartment were so perfect that we found we spent many evenings on the roof terrace sipping wine and enjoying a bbq. The bus stop however is very handy for heading into Fuengirola and taxis were not too expensive to get back.
We would highly recommend this apartment, it is everything you could want from a hoiday apartment along with extremely friendly and helpful owners!
This sought after complex in the up market area of Torreblanca has a large number of excellent golf courses within the locality as well as plenty of opportunities for those who wish to go horse riding, fishing or sailing.
The award winning marina at Benalmadena is just one of the many attractions and only a short distance away as is the town centre of Fuengirola, both of which have a lively nightlife and excellent restaurants.
Location has easy access to Malaga airport, Sevilla, Granada & Cordoba by car, by bus or by train using the nearby rail link with its frequent services. A perfect base to explore the coast, sightsee, and enjoy your favourite sport or laze around our private rooftop terrace solarium, swimming pools or the local sandy beaches which are only a few minutes walk away.

Other Activities: lots and lots of different activities, even downhill skiing (2 hours drive to Sierra Nevada Resorts)

Changeover days and times are flexible, but they naturally will need to be made to fit to schedules of groups staying before you, or coming after you
There is no separate charge for cleaning or laundry - they are included in the price. All linen and bathroom towels are provided, plus iron, ironing board and a hairdryer, and beds will be made and towels put in place prior to your arrival. Water, electricity and internet are included
Apartment has air conditioning and heat pumps, and they run by coin meter at a rate of 1 € coin / 10 hours (a local custom - I.e. all the apartments in our building have them), but a few coins will always be provided by us (left on top the coin box). Portable radiators are made available during colder months
As far as making a booking, there are two main options:
1) you can book directly with us (Click "Enquire Now"), or
2) you can book via HomeAway and use their Direct Payments (Click "Request to Book")

Upon reservation we will request a booking / security deposit of 100 €. Rental payment will be requested 6 weeks before the rental period. As payment methods we can offer bank transfer and PayPal. If you need to cancel your reservation and do it at least 4 weeks before start of the rental period we'll refund 75% of payment, 50% if cancelled at least 2 weeks before, and 25% if cancelled less than 2 weeks before. Via PayPal you can also pay with VISA, in which case 3% will be added
For booking via HomeAway and their Direct Payments, the refund policy is described under "Owner's Cancellation Policy" further below. On HomeAway direct payments 6% will be added by them, and if you pay via them and using VISA, then another additional 3% will be added
The cheapest option to go is directly via us, and using bank transfer or PayPal
On cancellation booking / security deposit is non-refundable.
