Amazing property in an amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous week at Ty Coed! The property is totally equipped with everything you need and is amazingly warm. The property has electric storage heaters and kept us very cozy for our end of October holiday.

We had a very busy week visiting many places - Llechwedd Slate mines, Llandudno, Barmouth are all within 90 minutes of Ty Coed.

We did visit more local attractions like the Lake Bala railway, waterfalls and Lake Vyrnwy Dam.

The veranda at Ty Coed is a welcome return to the property after a day out to have a pre-dinner drink over looking the countryside whilst the children played safely around us.

Rosemary and Rex were very welcoming owners! Thanks for a great holiday - we’ll make sure we return!

A clean and comfortable home from home in an ideal position to explore all points of the compass.

  • 4 of 5

The quiet location of this chalet accommodation and its central position with easy access to the north and west coasts of Wales, the Snowdonia National Park and places in central Wales, made it ideal for our purposes. All were reachable in 90 minutes or less over quiet roads and through beautiful mountain scenery and green fertile valleys. The road between the chalet and Bala is quite stunning. The chalet was clean, comfortable and well equipped and Rosemary’s welcome and subsequent contacts were just right to ensure our comfort and privacy. All in all we had a relaxing and interesting holiday experience with much more to discover and explore on our next visit.

Beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

What a cosy little place to stay, away from the noisy towns we would normally go to and got back in touch with mother nature.

The waterfall visit was very eye opening and the climb to the top was optional but well worth it.

Would recommend a stay to others as I think this will get busy when the weather gets better.

Thank you to our hosts for allowing us the opportunity to stay and just let us do our thing. Nice to see the lambs outside the windows every morning, nature at its finest.

"Ty Coed" must mean "The Best"

  • 4 of 5

I've only given 4 stars because no one gets 5, but Rosemary is the real star. The chalet is very well equipped and has plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space. It is in an elevated position within beautiful, quite countryside allowing for excellent views. The overall location is also very good with plenty of places to visit, walk, eat and drink not too far away. The seven days we spent there flew by. I do not hesitate in recommending it most highly.
