Jeremy purchased this condo in 2006
We chose this resort for our vacation rental for three reasons; Location, Location, Location, as well as the other three - Disney, SeaWorld, Universal.
Best rates in the area for luxury condo 1 mile to Disney, made possible due to the rental being condo only i.e. no amenity access (pool and gym).
This is an excellent accommodation for the money. Next door to Disney, 10 minutes from Sea World and Universal. None of the timeshare hassle of other resorts. Best of both worlds: quiet, yet close to everything.
I'm a kitchen and bath designer that traveled down to Orlando for the 2017 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show at the Orange County Convention Center. I was traveling with 2 other kitchen designers and we just wanted a clean place to stay that was convenient to the convention center. I found our WorldQuest Resort through VRBO and it was very easy to check in and check out of the facility.
The resort room that we had booked was a two bedroom, 2 bath unit with a kitchen and laundry facilities in the unit. When we arrived at our room after check-in we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had upgraded us to the 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit. We spent most of our 4 days there outside the room but it was really nice to come back to a clean space and our own rooms after a long day at the convention. Our 4th day was spend at Disney as it was only a few miles from the resort.
The unit we stayed in was a little dated and in need of a fresh paint job but overall it was very comfortable and had all the necessary items to cook a meal and prepare a nice breakfast prior to starting our busy days. There were a few negatives to the unit but not many and so we would highly recommend this property to anyone considering staying here. The fridge smelled like a previous guest might have left a dead fish in it for an extended period of time and no amount of baking soda got rid of it. (we tried!) The cabinet doors did not have soft closing hinges so they slammed shut rather than closed which sounds really petty but to the person sleeping in the bedroom next to the kitchen, be prepared for the annoyance. Like I said, small updates would make it outstanding and I can supply that info to the owners should they want my feedback. But for travelers looking for a clean and convenient place to stay, this is a wonderful resort!
When we arrived at the BV Resort, they gave us a 3BD/3BT, so it was a nice surprise. We were in Bldg 4, #305. The only complaint is that the bedroom that had the two double beds, one of them had collapsed sideways when he sat on it. So he had to use the other double bed. Everything else was perfect. Thanks.
Jeremy was extremely easy to work with and very responsive. The location is great and it was easy to get to Disney and Universal. The unit had a lot of space for our family of 4. It is a little dated and worn but nothing bad. Our biggest reason for the 3 stars is there is very little supplies provided if you are staying there for more than a night or two (we stayed 5 nights). Come prepared would be my best advice. There were no wash clothes or hand towels (only 2 bath towels and bath mat per bathroom). Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no dish soap or laundry soap, no dish rags or sponges. Kitchen supplies are very minimal. No hot pads or oven mitts, no pizza pan but they did have a wine bottle opener! If you are looking for an affordable place that is clean - this is a great option. We just like to have more "at home" luxuries when we rent a condo vs. just staying in a hotel room and this unit did not offer that. We ended up making a few trips to the store in the crazy Orlando traffic to get things that we assumed would be provided in the unit. One last tip which had nothing to do with the condo rental - there was a pizza/pasta place that stuck flyers in the doors. We ordered from them one night - it was BAD. The next day they put new flyers out with all the same info but a different business name. They don't have a physical address on the flyer and cash is preferred so we would suggest you skip ordering from them.
After 2 nights on the road sharing a hotel room with my family of four, we all thoroughly enjoyed having room to spread out. The condo showed signs of wear, but was still very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable, the showers were great and the kitchen was all in working order with the basic supplies you should expect.
Our only complaint was our loud neighbors who we had to call security on all 3 nights. I think this probably would have been an easier situation if we had rented the unit directly from WR, but they still handled the problem for us.
Overall we had a wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks, Jeremy!
PS - My husband said to add that I'm a very picky hotel snob, so this is high praise. 😊
Husband and I stayed here when we attended Epcot's Wine and Food Festival. At the end of a long day, it was great to know that we were a very very short drive from the condo. Grocery stores and restaurants are close as well. This is a great option for those who want to be close to the WDW resorts but don't want to pay the very high prices for an onsite hotel room. The large living room and the screened patio make a family trip special. Parking is adjacent to the building. We plan to return for Christmas.
Excellent Condo!! Lots of space, clean, Jacuzzi, full kitchen , just to name a few. Gated area, very safe. Close to the parks. We really enjoyed it and will be back. Thank you Jeremy!
