A few minutes walk to the Pro Shop and first tee of the Waikoloa Village Golf Course (discount provided to renters) or to the tennis courts, or the restaurant for a great lunch or dinner. Unit has a cook's kitchen, cool hardwood and tile floors, and a screened lanai looking out on the second fairway and also up at the south slope of Mauna Kea. The perfect unit and location to enjoy the Big Island and all there is to do, or just relax. Ideal for entertaining even if it is just yourself and that special someone. High speed Internet including wireless available.
The unit's two bedrooms are more like individual suites, each with Berber carpet and its own full bathroom. The master has both a shower and jacuzzi tub. Both have separate sliding doors onto the large lanai with wet bar, table, chairs, and lounge to share meals and conversations outside. The unit has ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room, and for those infrequent days when the breeze is calm, it also has air conditioning.
The kitchen has double ovens, Jennaire stovetop, microwave, and a large fridge with water & ice dispenser plus a rice cooker and other counter appliance. Ideal for large or small meals or entertaining friends you meet or bring with you. An additional half bath and washer/dryer as well as an large screen HD TV with cable and DVD player are included.
Waikoloa Fairways is a small gated community of permanent and part time residents as well as rentals. From the front gate you can see across the golf course to the ocean, and from just outside the unit's front door you can see the observatories atop Mauna Kea. Even without taking a tour to the top, at night you can look up and see planets and stars and clearly make out the Milky Way.
Waikoloa Fairways has a pool, hot tub spa, and gas barbecues just a few steps from the unit's door where you can swim, relax on the lounges in the sun or shade, or cook and eat by the pool. You'll feel comfortable as if at home and probably want to stay for weeks or months.
Waikoloa Village is located about 7 miles inland, 35-40 minutes away from the Kona International Airport. Waikoloa Village has restaurants, a grocery store with deli/bakery, a bank, a gas station, and other stores all within a mile from the Waikoloa Fairways. A fifteen minute drive will take you down to the Waikoloa Beach Resort and Mauna Lani resort areas where there are additional shops, restaurants, beaches and golf courses. And only ten more minutes up the coast to Hapuna Beach considered one of, if not the best, beach on the island.
Driving thirty minutes north from Waikoloa Village will take you to Waimea, Paniolo (cowboy) country. In Waimea, the Parker Ranch shopping center will also have a grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Bring a jacket, it can be wet and windy! Once back to Waikoloa Village, a 45 minute drive south will take you into Kona town. Kailua-Kona is the main town with Movie Theaters, Costco, Walmart, Kmart and other big name department stores as well as restaurants and shops.

The condo was exactly like the pictures. there was more to the condo then the pictures were able to show. Master bath was huge, lanai was very nice and large. Kitchen was excellent. Even on Windy days we could sit on the lanai, because of the screens you did not feel the wind. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The nicest condo we have stayed at. If you want to be close to golfing and beaches this is a perfect spot. Walking distance to shopping, and restaurants. The only downfall may be, to some, (not us as we had been to the island before) the fact that you aren't in the vibrant part of the island ie Kona etc.
Multiple resorts, beaches, and restaurants (causual and fine dining) within twenty minutes including one of the best beaches in Hawaii: Hapuna. Enjoy flight-seeing of the island via the best helicopter service in the islands just fifteen minutes away.
Waikoloa Village is a quiet community centrally located in the lava plains surrounded by the non-erupting volcanoes Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai, and Kohala.

$300 deposit to reserve. Refundable up to 90 days before check-in. Full payment required 45 days before arrival. Failure to make full payment by then will be considered cancellation of reservation and unit may be offered to others. Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival incurs a 10% forfeiture. Less than 30 days but more than 15 days: 50% forfeiture.
