Gite des Glycines is part of an old stone farmhouse which has been transformed into two independent cottages: individual rental cottage, or two cottages possible, ideal for spending holidays with family or friends. (see the Gite du Tilleul - 1 double bed)

The cottage is traditional Perigord style with inglenook fireplace (stone fireplace), oak beams and exposed stone. It has three bedrooms, two with double bed and one with two single beds, a terrace with views and its own garden. You have a barbecue, free WIFI, parking and free access to the pool.

Cottage with stunning views of the Dordogne valley and Château Fenelon

The Gite des Glycines and the cottage Tilleul are part of a stone ensemble of the 18th century, which has been transformed into two independent cottages: individual rental of a house, or two cottages possible, ideal for family holidays or with friends. Free WIFI.

The cottages are traditional Perigordian style with stone fireplace, oak beams and stone walls, all completely renovated. Glycines has 3 bedrooms and one bedroom lime trees. You will be quiet and can enjoy the terrace overlooking the old village of Calviac and the Dordogne valley, barbecue, relax by the pool in the middle of the garden and surrounded by trees. You will descend as you walk towards the Dordogne and the village and you can cycle on the bike path along the river and pass through the village.

The region is full of diverse and varied activities, sports or gourmet:

Périgord is famous for its prehistoric assets. Many caves are open to visits like the caves of Lascaux, the chasm of Padirac, the cave of Rouffignac, etc ... A multitude of classified villages inhabit this region as Rocamadour or La Roque-Gageac ... The famous medieval city, Sarlat, is only 12 km by car. In addition, large castles can be visited such as Castelnaud Castle or Château de Fénelon, which offers a breathtaking view from the garden of the cottage.

The region is a paradise for walkers and bike lovers. Hiking trails crisscross the Dordogne valley and a 35 km bike path passes near the cottage.

You can also discover Périgord while sailing on the waves. Discover beautiful landscapes aboard a canoe / kayak. The UNESCO-listed Dordogne River is just a 10-minute walk from the cottage.

For lovers of altitude, an adventure course is available just 6 km from the cottage. 11 courses and 1,500 meters of zip line will delight young and old alike.

Other activities are also available around the house as a zoological reserve of 200 animals or golf Souillac.


If you come by car, we are just 15 km from the A20 Paris / Toulouse 55 motorway exit at Souillac.

We are geographically located between 4 international airports: Brive Dordogne Valley (about 25 minutes) Bergerac (about 65 minutes), Limoges (about 90 minutes) or Toulouse (about 110 minutes).

You can travel by train from Paris to Souillac (train station 15 km from Calviac).

Excellent séjour

La maison correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes. La piscine nous à sauvé la vie par cette chaleur! Jolie propriété, très bien entretenue et très au calme. L'accueil était chaleureux.

Cette région est incroyablement belle, avec des activités à la pelle... pensez à rendre visite aux Biquettes de Braulen!

Vacances au Top dans une très belle région, nous nous sommes régalés avec toutes les visites.

Le gîte était très bien, identique aux photos, la piscine un régal, surtout de pouvoir en profiter à n'importe quel moment.

Les propriétaires sont adorables même s'ils étaient absents, il se sont toujours inquiétés de savoir si tout se passait bien et l'accueil réservé par Christelle et Frédéric nous ont ravi.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances avec une région où il est impossible de s'ennuyer entre les visites et les activités sans oublier la Gastronomie.
