Full of charm and character, The Clockhouse has a large bedroom/living room upstairs, with a shower room and open-plan kitchen/dining area below. And outside is a pretty and inviting courtyard garden.
The large bedroom/living room features a double bed and an extra bed can be arranged if required. The comfortable bedroom has ample wardrobe space. There is a shower room on the ground floor, featuring a shower, toilet and sink basin. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining area with table and seating for four people. The kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, electric cooker, fridge and washing machine, and all the usual plates, pots and pans. The pretty and inviting garden consists of mostly lawn, patio and shrubs with a barbecue, and is ideal for outdoor dining. And at the front of the property is a wonderful courtyard, with your own seating area. There is one off-road parking space available with the property.
Hi. I have lived in this area for over 20 years and went to school in the same area. I sell French pieces and beautiful cashmere ponchos. I love animals, I am very relaxed and enjoy having people and friends to stay. I also respect privacy.
Sam Story purchased this apartment in 2002
This property was terribly run down when we first bought it. We have worked hard on it, to make it look cosy and comfortable. It has featured in a few magazines, Country Living and House and Home.
MMMmmm! Lots of those here, I love the way you are near a town, where it is busy, yet when you step into The Clockhouse, it is quiet and hidden away from everything. It also has a secret garden out of the back of the house that is quite natural - we even have hedgehogs.
The Clockhouse is located in Sam's backyard, with its own separate access through the gate leading to the garden. My parents stayed at the Clockhouse for almost the entirety of their time in the UK and they absolutely loved it! Sam is the most lovely host I've ever met. She is warm, friendly and will do everything to make your stay the best it can be. The location is quite convenient if you are trying to get to Eton or Windsor. Trains also run from Windsor to Slough (and then Paddington thereafter) or direct to London Waterloo. I would definitely recommend the Clockhouse to anyone looking for a home away from home.
Very close to Windsor Castle, Windsor Shops, the Great Park, Legoland, Holloway University, Liquid Leisure water ski, Ice - Skating rink, Wentworth Golf, Virginia Water lake and ruins.
