Overview

Big Bear Lake Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5-6)

As part of the family, Napoleon Dynamite's (Jon Heder) favorite getaway is Coyote Crest, a romantic, yet family friendly 2 bedroom cabin in central Big Bear Lake. Enjoy this quality LAKEVIEW cabin in the best location in Big Bear.

For those of you tired of So. Cal. driving, once you arrive at Coyote Crest, you never have to get in your car again. Walk to the village for boutique shopping, gourmet dining, movies or bowling (a Napoleon favorite!). Miles of trails for hiking and biking are out the back door and skiing is a short drive (1 mile) away. Or just enjoy the incredible views from the 2nd floor outdoor deck hot tub.

The focus at this upstairs unit of the cabin is to see the lake and majestic mountain views from all the main rooms of the home. Whether you are in the living room by the fire, at the kitchen sink, or kicking back in the master bedroom by the fire, there is not a view of the lake that can not be seen! If you are looking to be 'At' the lake 'AND' enjoy a true mountain cabin experience, (completely remodeled inside) this is the cabin for you! Don't be a 'friggin idiot' - Rent this cabin now!

For those with families, the cabin has the following:

port-a-crib

High chair

booster seat

yard with swings, tree house and a hill for sledding

There is a king bed in the master bedroom. A double bed and a twin in the guest bedroom. There is one large bathroom with separate toilet and shower areas.

Awesome Property

  • 5 of 5

Meg was great to work with and responded quickly to all of my questions. This home is comfortable, inviting, and tranquil. The space was perfect for our party of four and we enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi during our stay. One aspect of the property that is not advertised is a fire pit with seating. Although we were unable to use the fire pit due to legal restrictions as a result of the long standing drought conditions, it is still a nice area to sit and take in the peaceful surroundings or hang out and enjoy each other's company. This property is very close to the village and just a few miles from the grocery stores. The kitchen is fairly well appointed with sufficient pots, pans, dishes, and utensils to fix just about anything. Things I didn't think about packing were ziploc bags, foil, kitchen towels, etc. which I will be sure to bring next time. I definitely plan to stay here again and hope this home will be available on my next trip to Big Bear! Thank you, Meg, for sharing your wonderful home!

Beautiful surroundings and ideal location

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here as a family of 5 and it was absolutely perfect. Location was beautiful and tranquil and only a 5 min walk into town (down a steep hill). Property was clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a welcome treat after a day of exploring. I would recommend this place for families and groups of friends. I will most definitely be returning in the near future.

Nice place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed in this cabin mid week for four days. It was a nice stay. Comfortable place for a family with toddlers. My son loved the box of toys and it was nice to have a portable crib and high chair. We loved the views from every room. Nice location as well. The owner was responsive and professional. Overall a nice stay for our family of 4.

Quiet and restful vacation with beautiful views out every window and door!

  • 5 of 5

Our family spent the week during the 4th of July and it was wonderful. Fantastic view of the fireworks off the balcony. Cabin is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully planned out to just relax and enjoy. Bathroom was great, wonderful soaking tub and plenty of room and natural light. The master bedroom bed is super comfortable, which is always a concern for me as I've had 2 back surgeries. I can say I slept better on that bed than I do my own! You can walk to the village, it only takes a few minutes and is such a enjoyable walk through the neighborhood. You can also walk right out of the cabin and go for a hike as there are a few trails close by. The owner is kind and wonderful to talk to/work with, which is always a concern in renting someone else's home. I can highly recommend this cabin and this will be the only cabin we will ever stay in when we are up in Big Bear.
