Light and airy, fully furnished Luxury Condominium in the heart of the Canadian Rockies with panoramic views of the mountains. Just an hour drive from Calgary Airport and 5 minutes from Banff National Park. Located in the Canmore Crossing development, which is just over a year old; minutes from Canmore town centre. The condominium is 690 square feet and is located on the third floor with an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Shared facilities in the building include a rooftop hot tub and fitness room. There’s underground heated parking with elevator (and stairway) access. The carpeted living area is cozy and comfortable with a feature river rock gas fireplace. A 2 seater sofa and 3 seater sofa (convertible Queen-sized bed) provide a comfortable place to sit and admire the mountain views. Access to the private balcony with BBQ is via the living area. For your entertainment, there is a TV with Cable, DVD player, and mini hi-fi system.

The condominium has its own telephone and there is no charge for local calls. Long distance calls can be charged to a calling card.

The bedroom contains a Queen-sized bed with plenty of closet space for all of your clothes. All linen, duvets, and pillows are included for the bedroom and convertible bed. The well appointed bathroom contains bath/shower, toilet, and wash basin, along with towels, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.

The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar, fridge/freezer with ice maker, oven, microwave and dishwasher. All dishes, glassware, linens, and cookware are included for up to 4 people. Additional appliances include coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and blender.

Housekeeping is provided before and after each visit. Daily housekeeping can also be arranged with reception at a fee.

Canmore is an ideal vacation destination, located in the bow river valley at the feet of the Canadian Rockies. Its outgoing, friendly population have made it as fast growing tourist centre. Whatever the time of year there is no shortage of things to do close at hand.

In the summertime try your hand at world class golf, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, helicopter tours, boat trips, canoeing, rafting, fishing and wildlife watching. During the winter months, Canmore is a magical winter wonderland close to several of Canada’s best ski resorts. Activities include downhill skiing and boarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice fishing, sleigh rides and ice climbing.

Downtown Canmore is populated with unique shops, art galleries, coffee houses. With more restaurants per capita than anywhere else in North America you will never be short of choice for food from around the world.

Places close by to visit include Banff National Park, Lake Louise, Kanaskis Country, Columbia ice fields, Sulphur Mountain gondola, Banff Hot Springs, Johnston Canyon, Bow Falls, Calgary, Grizzly bear refuge, Canmore Caverns and much more.

Great condo in a perfect location

We stayed here with our two children for Family Day weekend 2016, and will definitely be back! Well set up kitchen made meals a breeze, we didn't even need to bring food with supermarkets so close. Amazing view, comfortable bed, roomy condo. We had our children sleeping on the floor in our room, but could relax and watch TV in living room without disturbing them. Easy to get to Mt Norquay/Banff, a short walk downtown, and convenient having undercover parking.

Absolutely Amazing!

In all honesty, this was perhaps the best place I've ever stayed for an extended vacation, and I travel quite often. This was, however, the first time I had used to find accommodation and it was an extremely positive experience.

To start, this was a private unit with all the amenities one would expect of an apartment. The location was perfect (right in the center of Canmore and within walking distance of nearly everything you could possibly want or need). The view from the balcony was incredible, the rooftop hot tub excellent, and no noisy neighbors whatsoever. I wasn't sure if I needed to bring toiletries, cutlery, or miscellaneous items needed for an extended stay, but they were all available within the unit with no hidden fees or added costs. The washer and dryer saved us several stinky days, and the sleeping arrangement was just fine (a queen bed in one room and a pull-out couch that would easily sleep two in the living room).

The one and only drawback that had any effect upon us was the lack of air conditioning. From what I gathered from other guests within the condos, the entire property lacks AC, but then I was there at an unusually warm period, and only the warmest days would make this condo slightly less charming.

All things considered, especially with consideration to the price, this was exactly what I was hoping it would be and more. My honest opinion is that few other places in Canmore or Banff would offer such great value for your money, and if/when I return, I will certainly be looking to stay here before anywhere else.

Central location

This apartment is centrally located for all shopping and close to restaurants and downtown. Do note that it can be somewhat noisy in the hallways on the weekends but in January and February this was not too big an issue.

Though the first 4 weeks of our 6 week stay in this apartment were rocky for a number of reasons, the owner did refund part of our rental and changed management companies. Hopefully things will run smoother now.

Two things to check before you rent: if you plan to BBQ, make sure the BBQ is fixed and, if you have bad backs or trouble sleeping, make sure that a soft top has been put on the bed—we found the bed very hard.

Also note that this apartment is set up like a hotel room, without any personal touches by the owners. As they are visiting in April, this may change.

Canmore crossing

Clean unit but confirm before you book that the fridge is in working condition. When we got there the fridge was not keeping our food cold. After 4 days the repairman came.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your feedback, apologies for the problems with the fridge. Unfortunately it is difficult to orgnanise for repairs over the holiday period. A new fridge has now been ordered and will be in the unit shortly.
