Seldom available beautifully furnished former private condo residence located just 2400 ft. to the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Intracoastal waterway!! In the early mornings you can hear & feel the 'Seabreeze' which is the theme of this condo.

Enjoy a VERY close proximity to the beach without the high beachfront 'resort' prices - with all the million dollar condos and homes taking over these areas, this is a combination that has become almost extinct in Florida. This small & friendly condo complex is 55+ with one month minimum rental, and no children under 18. No pets & NO SMOKING.

Secure second floor location overlooks tropical landscaping, heated pool, hot tub, and clubhouse. Southern exposure makes screened-in lanai comfortable year-round all hours of the day. Simple pleasures in life are the best, and coffee on the lanai while reading the paper on a warm sunny morning is one of them !!

Completely furnished with ALL the amenities & comforts of home. (This is NOT an average rental...this was our home when we moved to Florida) These pictures are exactly what you'll enjoy when you're here.

Also, we have many more pics available, so if you'd like to see more of the beach, pool, condo, etc, just e-mail or give us a call and we'll send them ASAP. No problem....it costs nothing to look!

Outstanding winter getaway

We just spent three months here and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is perfect for us, near but not right on the beach (10 minute walk). Lots of walking trails and streets in the area (I logged over 100 miles on foot!). The lanai porch overlooks a beautiful central garden area where we often sat, read, ate meals and even napped. The owner was extremely helpful for any need we had, going out of his way to accommodate us. The bedroom had an adequate queen bed, but soon after our arrival he bought a king sized bed and all new bedroom furniture which was a huge blessing. The kitchen is very nice and very well supplied. The living room furniture is very comfortable and built around a great media center with a large flat screen TV. But he also added a new TV in the master bedroom in addition to the smaller one in the guest bedroom. The original coffee machine was also replaced with a new Keurig while we were here. The property, including quality furniture, are all well maintained. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and have already committed to coming back next winter. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Nice condo if it wasn't for the owner

Condo is well located and in good condition. Furnishings are dated but more than adequate for 2 people.

The only issue was the owner. The water heater stopped working the 2nd day we were there and it took 2 days for the owner to have it repaired. Seems he only has one electrician that he will use and it took that long to get him there to replaced the shorted-out power cord.

When we arrived, he informed me that he was going to replace the kitchen lights the following Monday. He and his electrician arrived around 4pm on Monday and did not finish until 9pm. Why he could not do this routine maintenance during a period when the unit was not rented was not explained.

We objected to the above and were ignored. Not only did the owner not feel that we were owed anything for our trouble, he charged us for an extra day. We did stay an extra day but he said nothing about that charge until after we asked the status of our security deposit refund. It took over a month and a half for the security deposit to be refunded. If you stay here, do not object to anything the owner does or he will deduct anything and everything from your security deposit. If we had known we were going to be charged for "cleaning" we would not have spent half the day cleaning the condo before we left.

Owner's Response: We're once again disappointed at the behavior of these guests and the damage and the problems they caused during their brief stay. Their comments here come as no surprise. After nearly two decades of welcoming guests and friends from locations all over the world, we're very proud to have earned a 100% (5)-star review rating. Read what our past guests have said, and see for yourself! This review is an untrue misrepresentation of the facts, and is nothing more than an attempt to damage a reputation we've worked hard to earn. Here is the truth about these guests stay, and what they conveniently forgot to tell you: The water heater and kitchen light malfunctions were caused by a lightning strike/power surge which occurred just prior to their arrival. An act of God - out of our control, but we repaired these as quick as possible. Throughout the repairs these guests complained and criticized then attempted to extort monetary payment from us as compensation for inconvenience. They never for one minute had to go without hot water! As a courtesy to them, we added their name to our Comcast acct. so they could order the services they wanted. They ordered expensive services then when the bill came they refused to pay for what they ordered! The delay in the deposit refund was their own doing and was due to waiting for the final statement from Comcast. We have NEVER unfairly withheld a deposit and NEVER will! Our VRBO site clearly states that the deposit will be cheerfully refunded if the condo is left in the same condition as when it was received, and a cleaning fee may be charged only if necessary. These guests didn't mention that they left the couch and chairs full of food particles and the countertops, baths, faucets, mirrors, sinks and toilets in a mess that required extensive cleaning. We haven't had to charge a cleaning fee in over five years! These guests, by their own admission, took property that belonged to us without our permission, and then stayed an additional day beyond their agreement - then verbally attacked us when we billed them for it! Had this been a hotel, they would've been arrested for fraud and theft. Sadly, their actions have necessitated that a report be made with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Dept. and case numbers be established with VRBO. Extensive documentation in texts, photographic evidence, and witnesses are on file regarding the actions of these folks. In an otherwise wonderful bushel, this was one very bad and rotten apple!!

Perfect spot for beach, pool, quiet neighborhood, bikes, all the amenities in a perfect little spot. You are able to go to more populated areas and then return to a peaceful environment. We highly recommend this condo. We felt right at home.

Seeking beautiful beach and quiet friendly home environment

I am a fan of long quiet walks on the beach so when we began searching for a home away from home for 6 weeks it had to be on or near a beautiful beach. The location posted is what attacked my attention and neither the home, the beach or the location disappointed me.

The owner was very helpful and very honest in his dealings with us. We knew just what to expect and he delivered on his promise.

The condo was immaculate and the owners attempted to meet your ever need down to having paper clips and staplers available along with towels, sheets, cooking utensils etc. There was even 2 bikes, beach chairs, noodles for the pool and a cooler for picnics at the beach.

The location provided easy access to stores and restaurants.

The other renters were friendly and the atmosphere in the pool was friendly. We made some lasting friends.

But the highlight was easy access to the beach. Every am I could get up and walk 7 minutes across the draw bridge and be on a beautiful beach that never seemed to be crowded. Locals taught me to search for shark teeth and often you could view an abundance of wild life such as herons and even an otter.

My husband and I would highly recommend this location and plan to visit again.

Very nice, as advertised,all the amenities,beach chairs,ice chest, bycycles. The unit was well kept & very comfortable,the kitchen had all the utensils you would need. The walk to the beach was one half mile,easy walk, if you drive plenty of parking.The new beach house wasn't open when we were there, but the facility would be available as of October,2012. I do recommend this condo .

We stayed here in May 2012 and had a great time enjoying the perfect weather. The condo is much nicer than average and include many amenities that we have never found in the other condos we have enjoyed in the past. It is an easy walk to the beautiful beach. The pool, hot tub and all the extras make this the best bang for the buck we have found. We will definitely be back
