An atypical story:


This former pumping station of 1895 supplied freshwater from the Rhone Aigues Mortes. The building was originally a water tower with steam popes, which explains its name of Château la Pompe. It is surrounded by fields for horses and organic rice paddies. Its French park has water features with koi carp and water jet, a pool and a spa built around an authentic and rare Roman bath brought back to the 18th century Pompeii. In the park are also a Roman tomb and a stele to the glory of the Emperor Hadrian from the city of Nîmes.

3 km from Saint-Gilles, less than half an hour from the Roman cities of Nîmes, Arles, a quarter of an hour Saintes-Marie of the sea, Aigues Morte and 1 hour from Montpellier. It allows the discovery of festivals (photo, theater, ..)
