Sydney is a harbour town on Cape Breton Island, in Nova Scotia, Canada. By the water, the Big Fiddle is a huge violin honouring local music. Wooden 18th-century buildings include the Cossit and Jost houses, now museums with period furniture. St. Patrick’s Church Museum showcases local history in an 1828 church. East, at Glace Bay, the Cape Breton Miners’ Museum explores the area’s coal-mining heritage.
Our home is located in the heart of Sydney's Historic North End, we are walking distance to many local attractions including the downtown boardwalk, Open Hearth Park with walking trails and a fun, interactive playground with water features that the kids will love. Wentworth Park in a throw back to old time leisure with its main pond, playground and Bandshell. The summer you may catch and act from the Summer concert series! Shopping is found in the downtown core as well as the multiple shops of the major shopping distract a short drive up SPAR rd.
