Former barn cottage (2 rooms) located in the bottom of garden

Our cottage is new (late 2014). It is located in a very quiet area, 10 minutes walk from the historic center of Colmar. We have built our barn garden background in a charming cottage. 'La Grange' has a wood frame and is completely renovated facade standards BBC (low energy buildings).

The cottage is located on the first floor and has an area of ​​75 m2. It is fully independent and has all the comforts (TV, Wifi internet- -Radio, etc ...).

On the ground floor there is a spacious hatch allowing you to place your business, your jackets, etc ... A staircase takes you upstairs. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (Charlie and Camille ') delicately decorated, spacious living room of over 30 m2 and an open fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom and toilet are separated.

We provide our visitors with a garage space located on the ground floor of the house. So you can easily safely leave the car in our property and walk around to the historic center of Colmar and this in less than 15 minutes.

Our cottage is situated in a very quiet area with all the shops (bakery, restaurant food, supermarkets, etc ...)

It can host up to 4 people (two bedrooms).

Easily discover and wander the streets of Colmar, a true compilation of our region with its traditions, Christmas markets, world-class museums (Unterlinden, Toy Museum, Bartholdi), festivals (music, cinema). The city knows no dead time and is a true architectural gem.

If you prefer the great outdoors, the Vosges and Black Forest welcome you in less than an hour away for beautiful hikes to the peaks and numerous lakes.

Otherwise, the city of Strasbourg in an hour drive (or 30 minutes by train) and Mulhouse and its museums (Train, Car) in 30 minutes by motorway which access is nearby.

You can also explore the wonderful course 'Wine Route' and countless Alsatian villages as Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Eguisheim (elected most beautiful village in France in 2013), Ribeauvillé, etc ...

We will advise you and tell you the 'places' in the region.

And after a busy day, why not enjoy the garden and barbecue at your disposal as well as table tennis and games for children and for adults too !!

A Beautiful Apartment in an Excellent Position

We spent two relaxing weeks in this lovely apartment. Everything was exactly as described in the details. The accommodation is of a high standard, very well equipped, comfortable and absolutely spotless. It is in an ideal position, in a quiet neighbourhood with an easy 10 minutes walk to the centre of Colmar. There is also good choice of boulangeries close by for excellent breakfast croissants.

Christophe and Isabelle were very welcoming,charming and friendly, giving helpful advice on places to visit and local restaurants but not in the least bit intrusive.

Colmar is a colourful, bustling town, full of interesting buildings round every corner with restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes. The surrounding area is very picturesque with beautiful villages and stunning scenery - well worth a visit as it is completely different from any other part of France we have visited previously.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location

We have spent a fabulous week in this lovely apartment. Everything is new and clean and in working order and was just as described.

Isabelle and Christophe were very welcoming and helpful whenever we had any queries. As it was just a short walk into Colmar we were able to get into town easily for restaurants and sightseeing. Also not far from Strasbourg and the many picturesque villages of the Alsace region. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit this area.

Un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé de très très bonnes vacances. Le gîte est idéalement situé proche du centre de Colmar et de toutes les commodités. Il a été totalement rénové avec goût et est très confortable.

Merci à Mr et Fischbach pour leur accueil et leurs judicieux conseils de visites.

La connexion internet est très performante.

Bref, si vous souhaitez y passer un agréable moment pour découvrir l'Alsace, n'hésitez pas car le gîte est idéalement placé, à la croisée de toutes les visites.

very comfortable stay in a well equipped gite

We stayed in this gite over the Easter weekend. It is well located - a 10 minute walk from the Colmar town center, and it was a good base from which to explore the Alsace wine region and its many scenic villages. The gite itself is newly renovated, located in the back yard of the owner's home, with tasteful and modern decor. The bathroom was very spacious, and the beds were VERY comfortable for a rental property. Perfect amount of space for our family of 3. Also, the hosts were organized and responsive in taking the booking and arranging the payments, and, upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome. All in all, a very relaxing and hassle free holiday weekend in Colmar. Highly recommended for couples or small families.

Lugar encantador, la casa simplemente perfecta y los anfitriones de diez. Son una familia encantadora que te proporciona toda la comodidad para que estes como en tu propia casa y la situacion respecto a Colmar centro inmejorable, en un paseo estás en el centro. Location idéale en tous points !

Nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir une location conforme à la description et aux avis.

Les pièces sont décorées avec soin et goût, les matériaux et équipements sont de qualité (de la robinetterie à la literie bien ferme).

La location était parfaitement propre à notre arrivée et les lits faits, les draps de bain et serviettes de toilette en quantité suffisante et bien moelleux (un sèche serviette dans la salle de bain permet hors saison de disposer d'une serviette chauffée en sortant de la douche). Des rangements suffisants pour le linge sont prévus ainsi que des crochets derrière les portes. Cette location est bien pensée pour être tant agréable que pratique (jusqu'au stationnement fermé pour la voiture).

Un point d'attention tout particulier pour saluer la gentillesse et la bienveillance des propriétaires qui allient la discrétion et une totale disponibilité pour apporter conseils, renseignements tant sur la location que sur la région.

Les propriétaires méritent de futurs locataires bien attentionnés pour prendre soin des locaux qu'ils ont préparé pour le plaisir des vacanciers. C'est la première fois que nous recommandons à ce point une location car de la location elle-même à sa localisation près du centre de Colmar, tout vous attend pour un bien joli séjour.
