Gatlinburg Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Looking for that special place for a great getaway in the Smokies? Look no farther! Tranquility Point has everything you're looking for and great reviews. Come to Tranquility Point to make fantastic memories. Book your stay here, you won't be disappointed.

'WOW!' is what you'll say from the moment you drive up to and step inside Tranquility Point, a secluded luxury log cabin with good access just minutes from the heart of both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. But don't just take our word for it -- read our guest comments below.

Whether you're looking for a romantic honeymoon, family vacation, or getaway for two couples, Tranquility Point is sure to please with its two master suites, each with a queen-size log bed and private full bathroom. For extra sleeping space, we have a full-size sleeper sofa in the spacious living area.

Nestled in the woods on two-thirds of an acre, you will find this smoke-free cabin clean and tastefully furnished throughout. Its all-wood interior, log furniture, and two stacked stone gas fireplaces give the cabin a warm, cozy feel...the perfect place to get away from it all.

After a fun-filled day, whether hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, outlet shopping in Pigeon Forge, or enjoying Gatlinburg's many family-friendly attractions, relax in a log chair or soak in the private hot tub on Tranquility Point's covered wrap-around deck. Enjoy beautiful mountain views. Or just pass the time away on the swing in front of the cabin -- you won't be staring at another cabin, just trees and winter views of Mount Leconte.

Inside, you can shoot some pool in the loft, play a game, read a book in one of the comfortable recliners, or watch a movie or cable television on the 37' flat screen LCD high definition TV or one of the other TVs.

If you like to cook, you'll appreciate the fully-equipped kitchen and dishwasher. Or why not barbecue on the charcoal grill outside? For your convenience we even have a washer and dryer, which means you'll be able to pack less.

Want to stay connected while you're on vacation? No problem! We have wireless internet for your convenience.

Conveniently located on the north side of Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts community less than ten minutes from the Gatlinburg 'strip' and fifteen minutes from the center of Pigeon Forge, Tranquility Point has good, paved access with flat parking for three cars.

If mobility is a concern, you'll appreciate the fact that one small six inch step will get you into the cabin and that one of the master suites is located on the ground floor. We welcome your small, well-behaved dog with prior approval and a $75 non-refundable pet fee.

For more information, please call or e-mail us, or visit our website (see below). This is our family vacation home; we are not a management company and we do not own any other cabins. Thanks for considering Tranquility Point for your stay in the Smokies!

Clean and inviting

  • 5 of 5

Whether strolling through Gatlinburg or hiking through the mountains it was great to return to a warm and peaceful cabin. Plenty of things to keep you busy and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire place for those cool evenings. I highly recommend This cabin and would like to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful views

  • 3 of 5

The home is a beautiful place with breathtaking views. That being said it is not luxury. I looked forward to soaks in the big tub by the fire place. The first night I filled the tub and the turned on the jets and the water was filled with black pieces. To say the least it was gross. I then went to look at the hot tub (we have one at home). It should smell clean and it did not (on reading the book on the table there were two small children playing in it prior to our stay). The bathroom floors could use a good cleaning also. We did have a good time enjoying the scenery but would not recommend this for a romantic getaway. We planned two getaways this year for our 25th anniversary hopefully the next one is more what we planned.

Trust & Kindness!

  • 5 of 5

Sadly, the monster storm of 2016 kept us from staying in this lovely cabin. However, I wanted to give this stellar review in anticipation of our future visit(s). Karen was so kind and responded quickly to our dilemma. I was so appreciative of her refunding our monies for the nights we could not stay. It was never a concern or issue......most important was our safety. Karen and Ian's Trust/Kindness towards their guests is a complete reflection of how they represent the cabin and conduct business. This is more than a 'rental cabin' has become a trusted family destination/home! Thank you, Karen & Ian.

Had a great time!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin - it was very cozy! It's tucked away deep in the mountain roads and definitely encompasses the concept of "getting away". The kitchen was fully stocked, which made meals easy after a trip to the Food City grocery store. The TV room was cozy, especially with the gas fireplace on. We brought our own Roku - it appeared like there was either satellite or xfinity cable, but honestly we didn't use either. There was not a remote specifically for the TV, but the xfinity remote had a "TV power" button programmed. We were able to manually change the input for our roku on the back left side of the TV. The bedrooms were both pretty standard. The mattress did feel a little small (full size), but by no means is that a deal breaker. The various outdoor decks and jacuzzi offered many places to sit and enjoy the scenic views! Even the upstairs bedroom has a deck right out of the room!

Our only complaints were that we had a difficult time getting into the cabin initially and the upstairs bathtub didn't look very clean. The keypad lock took about 9 attempts with our code to sounded like the deadbolt was stuck. Maybe it needs some WD-40. Once we finally got it to open, we didn't have any issues after that. As for the upstairs bathtub, it didn't look clean and had black flakes stuck around the jet housings. Neither of these issues were deal breakers by any means.

Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin while we were there! This was our first time to Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains and we had a great time exploring the area. We also had a great time just laying around the cabin when we weren't out and about. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone else! Also a big plus that it was "dog friendly" as we loved being able to bring the dog.

Thanks again for letting us use your cabin!

Owner's Response: We are so glad you had a great time. Thank you so much for letting us know about the upstairs tub. The cabin is scheduled for a deep clean next week, which will take care of that. We will also have the housekeeper change out the batteries on the door lock. Sometimes it sticks. Karen and Ian
