Expedition Station is the newest property in the Snowshoe Village. My unit Expedition Station 320 is located on the 3rd floor with a slope side view. It's an easy walk downstairs to the locker room where you can store all your equipment and ski right out onto the slope. The building is ski/bike in/out.
ES320 has all the comforts of home. WiFi Internet access, 39" TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime and stocked kitchenette. The building also has a fitness center, ski rental, ski and bike storage.
Expedition Station is right next to the restaurants and shopping in Snowshoe Village.
Nearby in the village is Split Rock Pools which has year round swimming and hot tub (pass must be purchased from Snowshoe).
Ski and Snowboard Rental Discount: We have partnered with the Ski Barn to offer a 15% discount off their already low ski/board rental prices. All of our guests will be able to take advantage of this money saving offer.

This is a well-maintained, cozy condo in a centrally located spot that we thoroughly enjoyed. You can spend a lot of time relaxing on the window seat just watching everyone ski by your window, catch the sunrise, or see the sunset shadows creep up the opposite mountains. We did some of our own cooking while we were there and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The owner has made it easy to connect to the Internet wirelessly. We had a lovely time and we'll seek out this condo again next year.
Great location, great service
Nice, clean room, perfectly located in the village with a beautiful view of the mountains. Plenty of linens, towels, blankets, comfy mattress etc. Parking is close by too. Great option for a long weekend. The only thing we were missing was a little coffee and shampoo. There was a coffee pot and filters but a Keurig machine would be a nice addition. We picked up a bottle of shampoo at Wildcat Provisions and left it for the next guests. The owner was quick to respond when I had a question. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Perfect location. Easily accessible from parking lots and ski in and ski out. Everything inside the apartment was perfect and as shown. You've got a great view of the slopes!
Great room for a couple or family of three in convenient Village location with direct slope access.
The room was as advertised in pictures. Check-in went well. Room was comfortable for me and my son. My son got the sleeper sofa. Space is a little tight with the sofa sleeper out, but again, fine for two, or a couple with a kid. Not a lot of room to prep food or table space to eat, but we ate out for dinner and did cereal breakfast and sandwich lunches. Great view of the slopes and the lake below. Very convenient to everything in village and you can grab skis/boards in locker room and walk right out onto slope. Expedition rental is right underneath on lower floor if you rent...but owner arranges for 15% discount at Ski Barn at bottom of mountain, or Snow Creek Mountain at entrance to Silver Creek. We went to Snow Creek Mountain and guy helping us was great. No problems recognizing the discount when reserving on line. You can pick up rental on the way in after 6 pm the night before you hit slopes. Ended up buying my son his own stuff due to 40% discount going on, and guy helping us let me apply the rental charge I had paid toward the purchase. On arrival, the small parking lot near entrance to Expedition Station was full, and stayed full, but you can temp park close to the entrance for a short walk to carry things in, then park right across the main road for a short walk back to the Village. I would stay here again.
We had a great time at Snowshoe and the room did not disappoint. Delmar was very helpful and responsive and the room provided everything we needed for a 4 night stay.
Fantastic location and Great Owner
This studio with kitchenette is in the perfect location. Expedition Station has a small parking lot close to the front door, ski rentals are in the basement, lift tickets and shuttle bus are across the walkway and the slopes are out the back door! AND this unit comes with a locker for all your ski gear. We had an issue with the dead bolt not working and I emailed Delmar the night we arrived. The next day maintenance came by and fixed it.
The kitchenette is well stocked with all the utensils and dinnerware (salt and pepper too). The toaster and coffeemaker are over by the TV since there isn't enough counter space in the kitchen. Soap was supplied in the bathroom along with enough towels for 4 people and a hair dryer. The room looks out over the main basin so you can watch the sunrise and get ready to ski while you enjoy your morning coffee. The locker is spacious and would easily fit skis/snowboards for 4.
Skiing tips: On the weekends Ski the main basin from 9am rope drop to about 11am, grab some lunch and head over to Silver Creek for the rest of the day. Silver Creek never seems to be crowded (one theory is that its because the lifts are so slow!) When wait times exceeded 30 min in the main basin, Silver Creek wait times never exceeded 10 min! We often were able to ski right onto the lift. We didn't get a chance to try Western Ridge, but I heard similar comments from those who did get to ski there (nice long runs and few lines).
I also spoke to someone who has been here in the summer to bike the mountain. He said it was beautiful and we needed to check it out. Mountain biking, swimming, beach time, etc.
Thanks Delmar for an amazing weekend.
