Come Play! Your 70-foot dock provides instant access to fun – whether boating, fishing, swimming or relaxing under the shady, palm-roof “Chickee.” Enjoy your privacy with independent upstairs/downstairs units - friends, family, or guests will appreciate the extra bed, bath, living room and full kitchen downstairs.
The Dock: Have your boats or yacht waiting just outside your door. Large, deep-draft sailboats or yachts are easily accommodated with a waterway 20 ft deep and 100 foot wide. Even tall vessels travel quickly between the Ocean and Florida Bay using the drawbridge just 1000 yards from the dock. With gas, bait, and tackle shops located before the bridge, your convenience is assured.
*****Love Fishing?***** Enjoy casting right from the dock for yellow tail, red snapper or grouper. Cast-offshore for sport fishing in the Gulf Stream. The world famous “hump,” an underwater mountain just 11 miles from the dock, has made Islamorada fishing world famous; catch marlin, sailfish, black-fin tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo and many more ocean treasures.
Or just as easily, go backcountry fishing in Florida Bay and catch speckled trout or tarpon. A fish cleaning station at the end of the dock lets you clean your catch whenever your reeling arm is rested and ready.
*****Love Swimming, Snorkeling or Diving?***** Enjoy endless swimming right from the dock where the water is clean and refreshing, and the beverages are never far away. Living reefs and sunken wrecks are easily enjoyed by everyone, just three miles from the dock in 3-15 ft of water. Enjoy colorful tropical fish, coral rock formations and sea fans. Certified divers will enjoy the drop-off just five miles out, where the 20-30 foot reefs transition to 60+ feet, and sea life changes.
The House: We only rent the house to one party at a time – so the upstairs and downstairs units are yours! Upstairs has Two Bedrooms each with a king size bed and one Bathroom. Downstairs has one Bedroom with a queen size bed and one Bathroom. Downstairs also has a queen size sofa bed couch. Enjoy the convenience of a first floor bathroom, and refrigerator – perfect for those lazy outside days!
Ensure everyone's comfort with separate air conditioning systems for the upstairs and downstairs. You’ll find all of the conveniences you expect – comfortable accommodations, fresh linens, plenty of kitchen utensils, laundry machines, and a gas barbeque grill.
You will also find some unique conveniences, like plenty of room to park your boat trailer, extra dock capacity next door, an open lot next door for unobstructed breezes, a shaded palm-roof “chickee”, and private fish cleaning station.
Come and stay. Upstairs or down – this is a great place to play.

Islamorada is the fishing capital of the world.
It's peaceful and quiet here.
Walk to boat rentals.
The seabreeze and resturants are superb. We swim and 'noodle' in the clear canal water.
We are very excited to be coming back to this wonderful and well cared for home for 2 weeks next summer. We stayed for one week about 3 years ago and have been trying to get back to this very spot. Island Times is cozy and clean and had every amenity we could have hoped for. The canal was moments to the open ocean or bay. We are a fishing, diving, paddle-boarding, snorkeling family, and the dock-age for our 32' boat was ideal. We loved having water available to for wash down ad the filet table dockside. The chiki hut was the perfect place for morning coffee, or enjoying the Keys gentle breezes. The owners were so wonderful in every aspect and worked to make certain we were happy with the home they lovingly share with others. A wonderful surprise was that with the rental comes "residents" privileges at Founders Park!
Our family created life-long memories during our week at Island Times. The house was very well-furnished and it was truly like a home away from home. The location is fantastic. Lots of great restaurants in the area. But...we cooked most meals in the well-furnished kitchen and on the grill. Beautiful, quiet canal. Leave the canal and take a left and your in the Atlantic fishing/snorkeling in 5 minutes. Leave the canal and go right and your in the Gulf / backwater in minutes. We brought our 27 foot boat and this was the perfect set up. Manatee swam right up to our dock. Sunset cruises. Great fishing. My son caught a GIANT wahoo which was truly a thrill for him. We will be back. - Greg
Island Times was the perfect home away from home for the three generations that traveled from 2 countries to spend time together.
The ages of our family ranged from 93 years to 25 years and all were very comfortable and happy with their accommodations.
I would not hesitate to recommend this location to family and friends. I hope to spend more time at Island Times in the near future.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained house in an excellent location. It is only 5 minutes from Island Times to the ocean and that includes the no-wake zone!
We just visited Islamorada this past June with 3 couples, and we loved it! This rental is the perfect rental for multiple couples, large families, or groups of friends. It is not lacking in space! There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is plenty of room to hang out inside and outside the house: hut facing the water with swings and hammock, screened porch facing water, and 2 living areas. All bedrooms and both living spaces have TVs! There is ample space to park cars and/or boats! There is a washer and dryer on the first floor and laundry detergent for you to use.
This rental is close to popular attractions and delicious restaurants for those that want to explore. If you like just relaxing at the house, you can do that too! You can jump right into the water for a relaxing cool down or take your boat (docked right outside your door) for a relaxing ride or skiing and fishing adventures!
You can’t go wrong with this rental! I would recommend to all my family and friends!
10 years 12 vacations at Island Times! We are a family of 5 always with an extra handful of kids and we always have enough space! House has everything we need. Deep clean canal for boat dockage and swimming. Manatee, dolphin, snappers and tarpon are regulars at dock. Great spot under the chickee hut to relax after a busy day. Marina around corner for bait and gas. Excellent snorkeling areas just off shore and lots of fish to be caught! Owners are super! Some great restaurants close by that will cook your catch.
