Serenity Shores is a lovely beachfront home on Diamond Point located between Port Townsend and Sequim on the Olympic Peninsula. Serenity is situated in a wonderful location with incredible views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island (wildlife sanctuary tours), Mt. Baker, Victoria B.C., Dungeness Spit and the most beautiful sunsets you've ever experienced.
Wake up to deer in the yard, baby seals on the beach, seagulls and magnificent eagles searching for their breakfast. Adventuresome beach walks, sunbathing, water activities and relaxation are just the start of your fun. But you'll want to venture out and explore this beautiful Peninsula area with all it has to offer. Enjoy the breathtaking experience of Hurricane Ridge, the many hiking trails nearby in the Olympics, walk Dungeness Spit/play golf, or shop til you drop in nearby Port Townsend. Music festivals, fairs, wineries, lavender farms, shopping and restaurants (7-Cedars Casino) are right there. (Or hop on the ferry to Victoria for the day.)
Relaxing, sunbathing, beachcombing, boating, sleeping on the enclosed deck under the stars, BBQ on the beach or enjoy a cozy indoor fire (or beach fire) without even leaving Serenity can feel wonderful as well. Children, pets and smokers are always welcome of course!
NOTE: Serenity Shores Beachfront Home has been awarded the 2014 Best of Sequim Award in the Vacation Home Rental category by the US Commerce Association (USCA)!

FIVE STAR ~ Spent the weekend at Serenity Shores and it was a delightful experience. We had planned on Sunday dinner out, but it was so pleasant where we were at - we just purchased some food and had dinner at the beach house and enjoyed the surroundings. My dog wandered away and we were out looking for him. After a couple of hours a found notice was posted and several people contacted me that they knew where the dog was. A great beach house and a great community. You could not ask for more. Had a wonderful time.
This was such an exceptional location-exactly what we needed! We went with one other family- and 3 teenage boys to celebrate my son turning 13!
It was far enough away from a town that we felt like we were tucked away, and the boys were able to roam around the front yard, and ride their scooters on the dead end street. The Incredible front "yard" was filled with sand- perfect for horseshoes! We enjoyed bbqing with incredible sunsets, and beach walks.
The beds are SOFT, but super comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets/pillows/towels. The kitchen was well equipped (and I loooove cooking, so I was concerned!)- the view while in the kitchen was just breathtaking. There was nothing that I wish I had packed- it was all there!
We met a few different neighbors who live in the neighborhood full time, and they were excited to talk about the history of the area, and to invite us back to experience more. I seriously felt like we had lived there forever. I'm not sure what was more fun- watching the kids play football on the beach, or seeing my dogs "smile" at playing in the waves! We came back only yesterday, and I'm already looking at the calendar to find the next three day weekend we can run away. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend!
I found Serenity Shores when I first got on line with VRBO, and even tho I looked at several others, I always came back to Cheryl's beach house. There were three of us staying for 3 nights. The house was very comfortable and clean, the view was beautiful and the weather was perfect !! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to vacation on the Olympic Peninsula. Thank you Cheryl, I hope you get some time to enjoy your beautiful place too !!
This property is as represented , clean and well furnished. Plenty of towels and bedding. There are a few condiments that kept us from the store. Open common area layout work well. There is about 8' of nice sandy beach - then a bit rocky. The beach drops fast w/ no mud - great for hounds.
We will be back.
We wanted a quick weekend getaway from Seattle and completely enjoyed Serenity Shores! Our 2 year old son and our pet Shiba loved the house and its beachfront access. The house itself is quite comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans ready for cooking. We accidentally baked a chocolate cake. Oops. We're very happy we stayed here and will look it up again for an easy trip! We decided to drive from Seattle instead of taking the ferry and it was just about 2 hours in both directions. There's also a QFC and Safeway both within about 20 minutes of the house.
We stayed at Serenity for 5 nights and can't wait to come back. We brought the chairs from the bedrooms and lined them up in front of the windows, just enjoying the beautiful scenery for hours each day. Views of Protection Island, Mt Baker and Canada are spectacular, the sea lions, birds and otters kept us enthralled. The kitchen is well appointed and the dining room very comfortable. We had a very significant storm and lost power. The housekeeper had left a note warning us of the storm and had a flashlight, candles and cut firewood ready for us , we were so thankful. The owner, Cheri, is just wonderful to work with and very helpful and prompt in responding to emails, she even called to check on us after the storm. We have stayed in many homes along the Washington and Oregon Coast, this home has the very best views and by far our favorite. Thank you Cheri for sharing your beautiful property.
