Perfect place for the weekend!

Really enjoyed our stay. It’s just like the photos, super clean, well organized and very dog friendly. The kitchen is very well stocked for all cooking needs, they have a chest with all the doggy goodies and the heaters are awesome. We wished the hot water lasted a bit longer in the showers but it wasn’t awful. We would definitely stay here again and are happy to recommend it to friends/family.

Wonderful place to stay with dogs!

We had a great weekend here. The condo was very clean and well stocked - they even had a large dog bed and "dog sheets" for the coaches. The location is great - within walking distance from a nice Mexican restaurant and cookie shop. The sliding doors on the bedrooms allowed us to let the dogs out in the yard easily and we were able to play with them on the large yard. I would highly recommend this property. We plan to return!

Awesome place to stay!

We had such a wonderful time at the Villa de los Pinos complex and this condo was perfect! The proximity of the unit to the pool/spa is great, the condo is extremely well stocked and comfortable and the courtyard was perfect for our lab Lulu. We were lucky enough to get fresh snow on our visit and the area was perfect for anything we needed. We could walk to Vons and plenty of our other local favorites, (The Stove, Giovanni's, etc.), walk our dog over to the park down the street and hit several hiking trails. Michael and his wife obviously take great pride in their condo and it shows. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about our experience in staying here. Hope to be back soon!

THE BEST

Over the past years we have stayed at a number of different condos in Mammoth in the Summer and Fall which were dog friendly. This condo is by far the finest of any that we have stayed at for us dog friendly guest. We have two German Shepherds that go everywhere with us, so it is important that they have a comfortable place to stay. This condo is designed around making your dog(s) welcome from the very start. Michael has a box in one of the bedrooms that is filled with blankets and sheets to protect the beds and couches from the dogs getting on. Also, in the bedroom closet there is a large dog bed. The two downstairs bedrooms both open up to a huge grassy play area that you can run your dog(s) on if there are no other dogs around. Even when another dog shows up, you just have to put them on a leash. We played Frisbee everyday in the grassy area, and when someone showed up with a dog we just leased them and most people didn’t mind having our dogs off leash while we played with them. All the people with dogs there were super friendly, as were their dogs. There are two potty bag dispensers with bags to pick-up after your dogs, and everyone seemed to pick-up after their dogs as I saw no dog poop around. The upstairs has a very large balcony for the dogs (and us) to lounge, and the dogs to greet all the other dogs as they walk by. Okay, enough about the dogs. This condo was spotless, with plenty of clean fluffy towels in both of the bathrooms. The living/dining room is very spacious with three nice couches (one is a futon). Even though we didn’t cook (Who comes to Mammoth and cooks with so many great restaurants?), the kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. It also has TVs in every room, and the wifi was super fast. What you will really notice is the beautiful artwork throughout the condo. You can really tell that there is pride of ownership, you would think that the owner lived there year round. Another aspect which makes to condo complex so nice is how quiet is was, as there is no traffic going through the complex due to the fact that everyone parks in the back of their condo. Also, there is a 10pm curfew on noise. It is also located within walking distance from town. Michael made the transaction of renting very easy by going through the owner rather than having to deal with a property manager or rental company. This will be our first choice in the future.
