About Shelley Goldman

I always loved vacationing in New Mexico. For over 15 years i spent one of my vacations exploring this beautiful state. It has so much to offer.

Shelley Goldman purchased this condo in 2007

Why Shelley Goldman chose New Mexico

For many years I dreamed of owning a property in New Mexico. Of all the beautiful places I visited in New Mexico, I chose the Tesuque, Santa Fe location. I stayed in this condo on one of my vacations as a rental. I found out is was for sale. Something felt right to me. Maybe it was the rainbow that I saw from my front patio my last day there. The location was perfect - close to Santa Fe but not in Santa Fe. I could take advantage of everything Santa Fe had to offer but also enjoy the quiet an beauty of the landscape. I made an offer two weeks after my return to my life in New York. It took a couple of months but soon enough it was mine!

What makes this condo unique

Location. location, location and nice pool!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Absolutely Wonderful Home

  • 5 of 5

This was one of the best vacation homes we've ever stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few. The home itself is lovely--clean, fresh, comfortable, and very nicely furnished without being overdone. The owner has thoughtfully provided everything you could need, down to guest soaps. It's located on a quiet gravel road just outside Santa Fe, and very prettily landscaped. For us city dwellers, it was the perfect escape from the hurly burly of life, while also being close to wonderful hiking and restaurants and the city of Santa Fe itself. Highly recommended!

Lovely weekend

  • 5 of 5

This house is clean and well stocked in a beautiful, quiet location. The front porch was a highlight for us - we loved having our breakfast there every morning. Even though there are other homes attached to this one it felt very private. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location, beautiful sunsets.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at the Pueblo Encantado Condo. The Condo was clean, very very comfortable and quite. The living room is set up so there is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and makes a great spot to relax and visit with friends and family. You can watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises just a very short walk from the unit. Don't forget to check out the stars at night! We loved the location. It was convenient to skiing and shopping in Santa Fe. Shelley was great to work with and was always easy to reach if we had questions. We would recommend staying at the Pueblo Encantado and we are looking forward to coming back again next year.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this condo last month for 8 nights. It is in a great area, in the hills just outside of Santa Fe, but a quick 8-10 minutes drive to downtown Santa Fe. It is super quiet for sleeping, and such a peaceful setting. We loved it. The condo is right across the street from the Four Seasons Resort, which we visited frequently while there. We were able to go hiking on the trails behind the resort and my daughter and I had a spa day at the Four Seasons. Just perfect! There are great hiking trails around the area, we spent time in Santa Fe and spent a night in Taos too. Beautiful! We went out to Bandalier National Monument one day and that was so awesome. Santa Fe has unbelievably good restaurants...we liked The Shed, Gabriel's, Rancho de Chimayo, Andiamo, Cowgirl BBQ, and Harry's Roadhouse. We also visited Kakawa Chocolates which is a must while in the area. It truly has the best chocolate I've had anywhere!

The condo is perfect, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. The kitchen has everything you need, and there is a nice patio outside, although it was too chilly to really sit out there and enjoy in the evenings. The night sky out there is so spectacular, so many stars! Do not hesitate to rent this condo, it is a wonderful choice while staying in New Mexico.

Peaceful, secluded and relaxing.

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking for a place to stay in the hills around Santa Fe then Pueblo Encantado is a great option. We'd not been to the region before and only had four days as part of a three week touring holiday. PE gave us a great base to take a break from travelling whilst also being well placed to take a look at Santa Fe, Los Alamos and a few other places around. The property is very well maintained and furnished and provided everything we needed for our short stay. I dealt direct with the owner, Shelley, who was very prompt, professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Shelley provided a lot of helpful information both via email and in a comprehensive file at the property.

Four days wasn't enough to do justice to Pueblo Encantado nor the area generally so maybe one day we'll get the chance to return.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Truly a home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

My family, my husband and I and two teenagers, enjoyed this awesome property for possibly the BEST Spring Break in the history of Spring Breaks!! The property itself is perfectly located just outside of Santa Fe but close enough to be only minutes away. We were perfectly situated to be within less than 30 minutes or so from many places that made for short day trips! We were there for a snow storm that occurred in the mountains that dumped 13 inches of fresh snow at the Santa Fe ski basin and not a flake at the property! We visited Santa Fe historic square: Loretto chapel, the Art Museum, the St. Francis Catherdral Basilica, Los Alamos to see the Bradbury Museum and the National Science Lab, Ojo Caliente for the hot mineral spa and mud baths, Bandelier National Monument, Valle Grande, and the Valles Caldera National Preserve. It was a whirlwind 6 days but each evening was enjoyed in the comfortable and secure home where we cooked, watched tv, played games and enjoyed a family vacation that was enjoyed by all! Definitely recommend!
