We had a great 2-night stay at Laura's appartment. 6 people felt comfortably and having 1 bathroom for each bedroom is a great plus. Laura is a very nice host and the appartment was very clean. We'll go back any time we're in Bologna.
It is a lovely place . Immaculately clean. Great location . Laura was a dream to work with . .the only draw back it is on second floor without an elevator . A little difficult with heavy luggage .
However I would definitely stay AGAIN.
Our family LOVED this apartment! Laura was a fantastic host -- she responded promptly to all our emails and questions, helped us find parking without entering the dreaded Italian limited traffic zones (!!), and made sure that we felt welcomed and that our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Each of the three couples in our family had our own spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom, with all the amenities we needed. We loved the decor, and the entire apartment was spotless! The location is perfect: a 5-minute walk to the historic city center, with restaurants and shops nearby. We so appreciated her recommendation to dine at the Trattoria Gianni, as it was the most memorable and outstanding meal of our entire trip (and we also enjoyed a post-dinner bottle of wine outside on the apartment terrace)! We wish we could have stayed longer, and we definitely will stay here the next time we visit Bologna! Grazie!
My husband and I visited Bologna 3 years ago, staying only 3 nights. We always wanted to go back and stay longer. So this year our adult children traveled to Italy with us and we traveled for two weeks. We stayed in Rome 3 nights, Bologna for 1 week and Lake Como 3 nights, with a hotel stay in Milan before departing Italy. On our last night at dinner, we asked our children their highlights. They all said staying in Bologa was the best part of the trip. Why? The hospitality, the amazing food and food shopping, great pasta class at CIBO. And this great apartment! We are three couples, and the way the apartment is configured we all had a lot of privacy, and each room had a private bathroom. A great private bathroom! Very comfortable beds, pillows, and plenty of towels. The wonderful kitchen was perfect to use after purchasing food at the terrific food markets. And an easy walk from the Quadrilateral with all the great food! Would I recommend Bologna and this apartment? Absolutely! Would I like to return and where would I stay? In this apartment! Of course!
This apartment is absolutely wonderful. Our stay (five women) was perfect and
everyone felt the place, the city, was magical. The owner is so incredibly kind
and attended to our every need and question. We want to return as soon as we can! and would not chose any other place to stay....the convenience from this flat to the historical center is fantastic. Bologna is a wonderful place to experience the true Italy.
The house is located in the heart of Bologna, in via San Felice, interesting shopping street and close to the main places of artistic interest:

Alma Mater: l 'oldest university in the Western world,
Porches: 36km of arcades run through Bologna.
Gastronomic tours in the quadrangle of the center: restaurants, taverns, wine bars, delis, ...
Bologna good food a bit 'everywhere, but I will be happy to direct you to my favorite places.
