House, 4 Bedrooms + Office, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 13)
My husband and I built this Sheepscot Shores home in 2001. I grew up in Wiscasset and my husband, who grew up in New Jersey, loved this area and we decided this waterfront property would be a perfect fit to build a home. We have 5 children and we all have spent many holidays and celebrations at the home, along with our extended family.
Sandra purchased this House in 2001
Why Sandra chose Wiscasset
I have always loved being by the water and this property is located on a dead end road, is very quiet, and the view is beautiful no matter what time of year it is. It is close to coastal Route 1, a popular road for traveling along the coast, and it's easy commutes to all that the Mid Coast has to offer. It's also an easy drive to some of Maine's lakes and beaches.
What makes this House unique
The house is 75 feet from the water's edge, and there is an easy walkway getting down to the water. The large deck, located on the waterfront side of house, is great for sitting outside and taking in the view. A grocery store is only a 5 minute drive and less than that to the village of Wiscasset where many small shops are located, including antiques. Red's Eat's, a very popular and nationally known eatery, is located in the village as well. They offer the best lobster and crab rolls in Maine!

It was perfect for our family gathering! We found that there was everything we needed, and more! The setting was gorgeous, especially the early morning sunrise. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
Couples Gateway Weekend
Without doubt this has been the best house we have stayed! Just bring your clothe And enjoy the views! Everything is supply by the owner. Location is great, close to everything. Visit Boothbay is a must.
Perfect for reunions
A beautiful, comfortable, light-filled house with a gorgeous view and convenient mid-coast location -- what could be better? For 9 women spending a week together as old college friends, the gathering areas on both the main floor and lower level, as well as the huge deck, were perfect. Thoughtfully provisioned and well supplied, this house exceeded our expectations. We loved it.
Gorgeous views and Beautiful Home
Everyone in our family loved the home &
locatiom with views of the Sheepscot River. The home was fully eqipped for guest comfort. Boothbay and Wiscasset have plenty to do and Acadia National
Park & Bar Harbour make a great day trip.
Loved this house
The house and location were wonderful. It is a great location for exploring the coast. We had plenty of room for the 4 couples and the view off the deck was spectacular. We saw an eagle twice from the deck. The week we were there was very hot, my only suggestion would be to add an air conditioner to the 3rd bedroom upstairs.
